Raphael caught Iris and wraped an arm around her, though she had nearly knocked him off his feet. He kissed her too. He was glad to see her again.
"told you I would never leave you." Raphael looked about the hall. There were so many faces, all of them looking and Iris and himself. He had dropped the rod and it had made a loud clattering noise. Raphael was still in shock at the excess put into the design of the structure.
"Who are all these people?"

Iris smiled, "They are all Guardians of the Thread of Time and Space," she waving a hand around, "They upkeep the balance between dimestions, time travel, and whatever new type of mutantion that deals with our work," she said kissing Raphael again, "And mostly all the structures her are magic illusions that our younger Guardians produce, just in case you were thinking about the waste of resources we used."

"What must be must be I suppose." Raphael did not understand the talk of magic, nor did he ever want to. Magic was something intangible that he could not grasp. Raphael hated things he could not touch or feel. Strange coincidence that he fell in love with a mageling. Either way he did not bother Iris about the magic and usually Iris did not bother Raphael about not ever caring to know about magic.
"do you have a forge of any sort around here, I have a little creative crafting to do." Raphael pointed down to the rod of iron that he had sword to drive through Apocolypse's heart, if he had one.

"You sure you're up to forging?" Iris asked before sighing already knowing the answer, "You there could you please take Raphael to our forges, make sure he gets whatever materials he wants," Iris said to a nearby Guardian that was staring at them, "Take it slow, Raphael," Iris whispered into his ear before kssing him on the cheek gingerly, "We have some wonderful Mage Blacksmiths down in the forge they're interesting to watch."

"I am sure they are..." Raphael looked about the great hall once more before kissing Iris on the cheek again.
"Some times it is just better to do things with your own strength" Raphael said loud enough that he was sure the assembled "gaurdians" would hear. Raphael enjoyed toying with people who didn't understand his way of life.

Iris rolled her eyes, "Go on before one of them sends you to the Dimestion of cute fuzzy things," she said trying to look serious.

"that doesn't sound like such a bad idea, I need a good pillow." Raphael chuckled as he followed someone out of the chamber and down a hall, He shouted back at Iris before the door closed, "don't take everything so seriously, takes all the fun out of living." Raphael had picked up the rod on his way out, and was planning on forging a great weapon from it and other materials so that he could pay back that wicked man for all the things he had done to him.
Raphael was in a better mood having seen Iris and messing with the "gaurdians" and wanted to mess with the kid leading him to the forge.
"so they teach you any of the good magic tricks yet?"

"Mostly pulling rabbits out of hats, and showing people their card," the boy said sarcastically rolling his eyes, "Believe me we've heard them all before. And just cause you're some mortal that's all cuddly with the Master Guardian doesn't mean you can push us around."

"of course not, its the fact that I am bigger than you that means I can push you around" Raphael said with a chuckle on his face. It was he newest way of dealing with his mixed emotions over having failed his mission.
"you can't be so serious all the time, you have to relax, that way your reactions are more fluid and less easy to read."

"Thank you Kung Foo sensei, I'm sure that your words of wisdom will help greatly," the boy muttered, "And size has nothing to do with it, Master Guardian was only 18 when she was given her postion, in the magic world it's the spirit of the person that makes them strong not their body."

Raphael smiked at the kid's jaunt back at him, he was playing along rather well.
"I suppose you are right kid, but you scoff my way of life, some things just cannot be done with magic."

The boy chuckled, "And what do you think started life? What heals, brings people back to life, or even the mysteries of the human brain. At one time or another magic has had something to do with human evolution."

"I simply exist and that is enough for me, I don't need to question why or learn the mysteries of it. I just do what I need to to survive, and occasionally someone was willing to pay me lots of money to do it to a specific person." Raphael shrugged, he had never enjoyed the employed killing, but it was part of him.
"when you are done with all your schooling you come find me and we will see how good you really are, if you can take me down in a fight."

"We're taught not to abuse our powers," the boy sniffed looking rather disapointed.

"I;m not really sure, everyone seem to create rooms they need and then leaves them in case someone else need them," the boy said opening a door to a pair of stairs that curled around to the forge, "Right down the stairs."

"...thanks, I guess. Well, I supposed I might see you around, or not judging by how big this place is." Raphael stepped through the doors and walked down the steps. The geometry of the building hurt Raphael's head, he had been an engineer and this sort of non-sense just could not exist in the physical world. Raphael made his way down to the bottom and then tried to ignore the rest of the room. He found a hot stove, an anvil, and a hammer to begin his work. Raphael just wanted to work, to clear his mind. There was honesty in labor, it couldn't lie to you or decieve you. Raphael began by heating and bending the bar until it was a small square of twisted metal. He then began to heat and forge it into a solid piece of metal, taking great pains to forge it all the way through and not leave any air bubbles or gaps.

Iris turned back around as Raphael, ignoring the usual cramping feeling in her stomach, she returned to her duties. "We will have to begin formulating a new plan, gather strength, and in the future we will attack Apocalypse," she said.

Doyle upon arriving in this limbo state stayed back away from everyone. He was curious about the place but asked no questions of anyone around him. He would watch and make the best guesses possible. For Doyle there was little that was to weird or impossible so Doyle could accept anything that happened to him without thinking himself crazy. Doyle did not feel comfortable though having started to remember his dealing with Apocalypse. Now surround by those he had murdered and kill left him feeling uneasy. He quickly upon entering this realm he faded into a dark shadow and moved to the corners away from everyone. He was sure most knew that he was lingering about in the shadow but he just watched as people went about there duties awaiting a summon or some event he could not guess to come.
