"I had the ring before we joined, and I would give it to you, but you can't have it until you promise not to die," Chase said smiling, but a tear traveled down his cheek.

The General made an effort to get up, but found that she couldn't. Well, she died fighting, always a good way to go in her book. It was a shame that she would never see her sister again, or her four year old twin daughters, who were being taken care of by Willow for their own safety.

"General," X23 said softly, touching Hannah softly on the shoulder. "General..." she paused to swallow, pity in her green eyes. "Is there anything you want me to say to Willow or the Queen for you?" she asked as the last of her gashes closed up on her forehead.
((We can't really continue until Raphael responds, so should we pause it till later?))

((Yeah))
"Chase," Magzie said tears forming in her eyes as she wiped away one of his tears. They had known each other for a long time, loved one aother for even longer, she didn't want it to end now, she still wanted time to talk to him.

((Fine.....if you say so. *sits now and waits impatiently*)) ((Oops! Didn't see X23's post!))
Hannah closed her eyes, trying to block out everything as her mind raced. She laughed softly to herself, coughing blood. "Just tell...Willow...to stay where she...is." Hannah smiled slightly. 'Bye....Eliza...love....you...' She sent out a weak telepathically thought, before slipping away into a near-death unconciousness.

That moment back at the castle the Queen had just given birth to a healthy baby girl that she named Fayna. Tears trickled down the Queen's face as she heard her friend's message and sobbed into the King's chest.

Next thing she knew.....she was looking at her own body. "Well....this is strange. And awfully supernatural-ish. At least I'm not stuck in limbo....I think. Am I?" She spoke to herself, knowing that no else could hear her. She then found herself standing by the Queen, who was crying. The General spotted the beautiful baby girl. "You'll be fine, kid." Hannah kissed the baby on the forehead before turning to her best friend. "Despite whatever you might think, you're gonna be alright too. I'll see you again sometime, Liza. You're my best friend, always have been since we met. Love you, Eliza, I really do." She heard a certain voice behind her and saw her mate. After lightly touching Eliza's shoulder she turned to go over to her mate, and they vanished.
((And now Hannah's outta the picture))

Raphael felt the hand in his own, he staggered a little, so Iris had not died. His breath was even more hoarse. He was barely able to keep himself upright.
"I missed you..." Raphael said as he looked over at Iris.

I never left," she said squeezing his hand and putting the potion to his lips and forcing him to drink it, "This will help you," she said weak herself but letting Raphael lean on her. It was the strongest healing potion she could tell by the color and smell and if anything could save Raphael it would be this.

Raphael did not want to drink the potion, but did anyways as Iris insited. "we were not meant to live forever, sometimes we have to die." Raphael staggered. The jagged piece of metal through his leg was beginning to be a problem. HE reached down before he finished drinking the potion and tore it free of his leg. He liked it, he would use it as a weapon to slay apocolypse and the man who had slain Iris.
"That feels much better."

"It's not your time, just like it wasn't mine," Iris whispered knowing that the potion was doing it's job. She then turned to Famine her eyes narrowing, "Famine," she growled spinning around her staff, it gleamed against the red lightening. She stepped in front of Raphael, "You always held darkness insdie you, but you controled it like all of have. Now you are nothing more then a monster and now it's your turn to wither away like you've done to this earth," she growled and began reciting the spell that would suck whatever was left of Negate into his own personal hell.
As she recited she felt weak and her arm flew out and grabbed onto Raphael's arm to steady her.

Raphael wraped an arm about Iris to steady her while she continued her spell. Raphael was skeptical about this magic stuff, he had seen it work, he just disapproved of it.
"No one can be forever..." Raphael murmured, still coughing up blood, but the potion took its effect. It would still be quite some time before he would be able to fight again, but as he steadied himself on the Iron bar and held Iris upright he knew he would have to fight again.

Iris felt Raphael's arm wrap around her waist and she took strength from in as she spoke the last words of her spell and a dark void opened behind Famine, "Be gone, Famine," she said hoping the portal would work.

X23 trudged up the hill from where she had seen the General die.
Another one has fallen and will rise no more, Precious lives are taken, stolen by the score.
Her eyes were tired from seeing all the death, from seeing all the fighting. And then they widened as she saw a portal open behind Alex... Famine... She bit her lip hard to keep herself focused and from rushing in to join him. Her baby Jasmine was still only a few months old and could not take care of herself. This was where she must bid goodbye to Jasmine's father. A tear trickled down her cheek, followed by another. Emotion was rare on her part, but occasionally things got to her deep inside. What did reach her could hurt her deeply. "Be free..."

Raphael turned at the slight movement and the familiar voice. It was his first protege x23. She was crying, emotion...she had learned, had gained the things Raphael had lacked before Iris. Raphael was proud in that moment, proud that x23 could find those things that had been denied to her in the past.
"what hurts us makes us stronger..." was all that Raphael said, staring hard ahead, trying to see what would happen.

Doyle stood where he was and watched as the fight continued to unfold. He was unsure of what to do and had no real idea what was going on. He knew Apocalypse had betrayed him but he could not remember. Also he was unsure if this upset Doyle or not. Because of Health he was now himself but also because of Apocalypse he could now life a normal life. Apocalypse for sure did not want this out come but Doyle now did not need to feed on human lives anymore and Health removed his thirst for them. Doyle could now be human again and live again but he was unsure of how to being. There were sin more then beyond remembering but there was also many good deeds that he had done that went on unnoticed by anyone including himself.

Famine glared at the wonder of light that laid in his endless night. The blinding light caused him to cover his cold eyes, turning his face to witness a portal shift and swirl open behide his back. Screams of pain and figures of demons crawled to grip at him, their claws gash at his thin skin. Dark toxic blood poured them his wounds, burning the dry earth under his feet. For the first time Famine expressionless face had grown a look of fear. The raven above his stiff head grow, as its wings encased the bleeding Famine, covering him from the creatures that hunted the boys nightmares. But the beasts bit and slash at the negative shield, with their bony nails they took a hold of Famine. Alex stared at the teethy demons, their eyes glowing with hunger. Alex jerked his body back and forth as more of the tiny freaks grasp at his cold form. " Death is only the beginning" he warned the rebels that laid below his touch. Famine screamed as the small bug eyed monsters creeped, crawling all over his body, sinking their wet dripping fangs into his pale flesh. The earth began to tremble as the winds howls and the sky cried poison tears. The minions of the portal slash at his armour causing it to dive to the sand bed below, turning to dirt as it hit. With his armour gone Famine no longer could keep the creatures at bay, they pulled him inside their small hell. Tho with his powers he still had a chance to live, be only for his greatest to be sealed, locked away. His glowing eyes grow dim as his dark form jointed with they others, Famine had been trap but not beaten. The mighty doors of the gateway closed with a boom that shook the death fulled clouds above. Famine may no longer be seen, but his foot steps rested in the dust, his dry breath fulled the sky, his poison touch laid still on the face of one. Apocalypse's eyes narrowed as his last horseman fall to the hands of the weak rebels.
Exist Alex/Negate aka Famine in a portal...

Iris felt the weight of keeping the door open that long fall on her shoulders and she struggled to keep standing. She had one more door to open, and then she could rest. Iris lifted her staff again and pointed it at Apocalypse. As if on cue the other people in robes stood in a half circle around him and pointed their staff at him. Iris waved her staff and with the combined energy of the other Guardians a door began to open behind Apocalypse. The light from it casted a bright glow over the battle field.
Magzie managed to look at the doorway and smile, she then looked at Chase for the last time, "Chase," she murmured, "You have a daughter," and with that Magzie left the world.
