"I was not always a Priestess you know," Moswen said smiling sweetly at Jumoke, "My uncle often let my family play around his work place," she said before her purple eyes bore into Jumoke.
"Dark things are coming, and you and me are more alike then you think regardless of class," she thought into his mind, "Before the sun sets meet me in the Isis' temple and I will explain more," she finished and got to her feet.
"This was a nice way to get away from my duties," she said outloud, "But please excuse me there are things that need to be planned for the feast," and with that she turned and left her servants at her heals.

Jumoke did not look into her eyes, even though they were purple. Odd color for eyes, but then her hair was an odd color as well. It was against his class to look into her eyes, but he listned politly to her speech as he worked along side her. Then the voice entered his head. His head whipped up and he found himself staring into her eyes again. She was the one speaking in his mind, and indeed the words continued the conversation on class, but with a summons. He might have cried out with fear and wonder if he did not remember she was Priestess. Of course she would be given gifts far beyond the normal population. But out loud she spoke of duties elsewhere and made her leave. Jumoke gave her departing figure a bow and murmered, "As the High Priestess wishes," indicating his intention to follow her request.
Midnight~Kanika "Black" Entertainer
Kanika had been born late at night when the very moon seemed snuffed out. Her mother had been forced to use touch to discern her own baby's gender and had named her Kanika. Black. When she started to become a woman, her eyes changed color. Some thought she was a demon. Other's thought the darkness of the night had left its imprint on her life, and it seemed that Kanika never had any trouble seeing in the dark. It was the night's with light that she worried about.
Girls were rushing back and forth, dressed or undressed by attendents. Kanika herself leaned toward a shining mirror of bronze to add color to her lips. Her outfit was less covering than any Egyption woman would wear normally and covered with much more decoration. Her long dark hair was natural as it flowed down her back, carefully pinned so that it would not fly into her face. There was still much time before the festival, but Kanika needed to prepare. As soon as she had finished beautifying her face, she slid in fluid movements out of the chair and into an area of the room that wasn't being overrun by others. There, her body could flow to the music in her mind as she swung her hips. Kanika was a bellydancer. And tonight she would preform for the Pharoh himself.
((The feast is that same night, right?))

"It is puzzling but how come your far seeing eyes rob you of the truth. I thought your sight could see through the fantasies of such things." Sef asked wondering why or how the priestess motives were hidden.
"She did eye me with much discontent but there are many other who would do so for other reasons." Sef added and stopped there. He made his point no need to ramble on about it at all. Straight to the point and no bull shit was how he worked.

"It's not as easy as it sounds Sef, though my power is vast, I've always had trouble looking on what any priestess or priest is going to do, " Sabah said her eyes looking a little uneasy and tired, "Most likely the priestess knows something but luckily the Pharaoh is so dependant on my readings he won't listen to anyone else," she continued and bite her lip, "None the less we should be prepared the Priestess will probably be planning something."
Moswen gathered her robes and climbed the long stairs up to her temple. Her mind was filled with thought and her eyes looked stormy. She had managed to get several other people to come to the feast in disguise but other then that she would have to rely on herself.
As soon as Moswen entered the temple there was a flash of purple light and she was in full armor, metal made by some other power other then egypt. Moswen bit her lip and spun her staff around, she was the guardian of this planet so she'd have to protect it with all her powers.

Jumoke firm shoulders could be seen threading their way through a crowd of people rushing here and there. He squished himself to the side of the road to let a string of scantily clad dancers through and then lifted a hand to shield his eyes from the setting sun. This seemed crazy. He had no idea what he was doing or why the priestess wanted him. He was a bit worried as to why, but she seemed in earnest about dark things coming. And she was a priestess, the High Priestess. She had a lot of authority and a lot of knowledge. Even though it was warm, he shivered. Dark things... what did she mean by dark things?
Soon he was along as he started to climb the stairs up to the temple, the sun warm on his back. Then he blinked. Did a purple glow just come from the temple doors? He quickened his pace and reached the entrance. "High Priestess?" he called softly. The change from the bright setting sun to the dim temple interior left him almost sightless and he blinked trying to adjust to the darkness. "It is Jumoke, the stonemason..."

Moswen heard the Stonemasion speak and spun around in time to see her servants, armed in armor and weapons just like they had secretly trained since they were younger, come out of nowhere and place weapons all around the Stonemansion's thick neck.
"That's enough, he's welcome here," Moswen said her own armor jingling a little as she walked towards Jumoke her eyes and staff glowing, "Welcome to the Temple of Isis," she spoke gently, "I have chosen you to help me try to stop the dark age that is desending on Egypt," she said and pressed her pale thumb on Jumoke's forhead, "By my power as High Priestess and Guardian of this planet I unlease the powers you hold inside you that you may aid good in the fight against evil."

Jumoke wasn't exactly suprised when his neck was surrounded by the sharp heads of several weapons. He was however nervous and didn't dare breath. But relief flooded him as he heard Moswen's voice and her order to the guards. They seemed to slink away and Jumoke turned to see the High Priestess, dressed in armor with eyes and staff glowing a brilliant purple. That still seemed odd, but he did not mention it.
In seconds, he was down on one knee, his head bent and eyes on the floor as he listened to her welcome and then was suprised by her thumb pressing against his forhead. Energy seemed to flood him and all of a sudden he could... feel... the temple. It was as if he had an extra sense that fingered the whole building and told him where all the cracks, twists, turns, and stones were laid. And he could feel along Moswen's body, seeing the pathways of blood vessels and the lines of her muscles. Then as the power continued to surge in him, he pressed both hands to the floor and healed the temple. Cracks in the walls and floor flowed together like water, connecting again as a solid, whole rock. He could feel the healing.
Stunned, Jumoke rose, forgetting he was in the presence of the High Priestess. His eyes had adjusted considerably and he now looked at his browned hands, turning them over to stare at the palms. Did he actually feel what he felt? What power was this?

Moswen smiled kindly and got down on one knee and took Jumoke's chin in her hand and lifted his eyes to gaze into her own, "I sensed that the Gods had blessed you with powers when I saw you today. I used my own powers to unlock them. Forever you'll be different, and forever you'll fight," she whispered, "I wish there could have been another way to do this, but right now I couldn't see any. So well you help me fight now?" she asked, "Not as a commoner to a Priestess but as a human to a human, will you help me fight off the coming darkness?"

Jumoke's blue eyes gazed into her purple ones and emotions seemed to struggle behind his face during this speech. Then he shook his head slightly, saying, "I am no warrior, Priestess. I have never lifted my hand against anyone. But if this is what you want, if this is what is needed for the good of the world, then yes, I will fight beside you." Jumoke winced a little at his own statement. As he said, he was no warrior and hated fighting altogether. Life, so precious and so intricate was not something that could be taken lightly. Fighting could very easily lead to death, and it wasn't his own death he was afraid of. He did not want anyone, anything to die.

Will~CHIKE Meaning~"power of God" Second in Command of Royal Guard.
"The Seer said nothing to worry about Layla," Chike said to his long time best friend and Captain.
"Something just doesn't feel right about what she is saying is my point Chike," Layla explained, "just trust me. I know something is amiss."
"All right Layla, I trust you as I've always have," Chike smiled at his friend, "I'll go and gather some of the guard. By the Gods, I hope your wrong."

"My dear Jumoke," Moswen said her voice light and sweet, but also sad, "None of us are born warriors, and many are not ready to become warriors when the time comes. Many people go through life only to die, but now everyone has to ban together, warriors or not and fight a horrid darkness," she said and sighed a heavy sigh as worry lines creased her lovely face, "Jumoke, I'm am asking you only to fight this one battle, that's all, please say you will."

Jumoke drew in a breath, and then said, "I will fight, Priestess. For Egypt." His lips firmed as the consequesnes of such a promise crossed his mind, but he started to steel himself for what may come. "What would you have me do?"

"For now my servents and the other priestess' of this temple are placing ourselves throughout the throne room so if any harm comes to the Pharaoh at least one of us can help him," Moswen said thoughtfully, "But you will be hidden, the seer Sabah as her own body guard that might be a problem."

"This is better. This will please Him more. He wishes no to have doubts and to question his authority. If he is to unite the thousand of desert tribes unto a Kingdom of his own. All must bare witness to his strength. An absolute victory over drunks and fools will not save us from war later." Sef said as he thought about the future and fate. The current Pharaoh had done En Sabah Nur and Sef a great wrong when he killed off there tribe but this was not about revenge for Sef. It was about the future so this would not happen again.
Sef walked along behind the Seer silent now deep in thought about about the gods, priestesses, the Pharaoh and what would become of the next day.

Kanika gave a small gasp as the words that left the man's lips and then stifled her own mouth. She had been practicing her dancing. True, this was not the area of the palace she should have been practicing in, but the small slaves' quarters were not big enough for all the girls running through it on this night. She was behind a column, her body moving like a snake when she heard footsteps. She had seen the seer and did not want to disturb her, so she stopped, still out of sight, and cast her head downward to wait for them to pass. But the conversation had reached her ears and it sounded almost treasonus.
"I will do what you command, Priestess." Jasper raised his head for an instant and looked her straight in the eye. "May the gods help us, Moswen, for what you ask. I will also fight beside you as an equal in this war." He reached out and touched her cheek with one brown hand and then let it drop and resumed the submissive position expected from one of his status in the presence of the High Priestess.

Jo lifted her eyes to a column and blinked, "There's a dancer behind there," she said and was silent for a moment and walked behind the column and stood next to the dancer, "By the sound of your gasp I suspect that you think we wish ill on the Pharoah," she said her voice going low and hypnotizing.
Moswen nodded and turned away from Jumoke to keep him from seeing the High Priestess blush, it wasn't the way of the Temple, "My Priestess' will take you, bathe you, cloth you, and feed you, so that you will be prepared for the upcoming battle tonight," she said her voice sounding strong, "I will meet with you before we leave for the Feast."

Kanika cursed herself as stupid. Of course the Seer, who although blind to ordinary things could see straight through walls. Kanika was afraid of the Seer partly because she didn't know the extent of her special powers, and partly because of the high status which the Seer held. When the Seer came around the column to stand right by Kanika, she tried to melt into the cold stone against her back.
"By the sound of your gasp, I suspect that you think we wish ill on the Pharoah," the Seer stated, her voice become low with some other quality... was it threatening?
Kanika shivered with fear, her hands clutching the long foamy material of her skirt. "I... I was just practicing, Great Seer," she stuttered, dropping to her knees in respect. "Please do not take any notice of a simple dancing girl. Why would the Great Seer ever wish ill upon the High Pharaoh? You must see something in the future that requires your action and I am sure that it is a noble cause, Great Seer."
Jumoke blushed deeply at the thought of someone else bathing him, much less a priestess. However, he was filthy from his hard work in the hot sun of Egypt and he was sure that they would be thorough. The prospect still made him embarassed. Then something else about what the High Priestess said stuck out to him: the battle tonight. So it was that soon? The size of the commitment that he had just made threatened to overwhelm Jumoke, but he bowed saying, "I look forward to our meeting, High Priestess."

Sef still out of sight because of the same column grunted quietly as the Seer spoke of the Pharaoh. The name that Sef had not mentioned for this very reason.
Sef moved around the column from the other way to come to a stand facing the great Seer and having the dancer on his left. He looked down at the Seer a little unimpressed by her giving it away so freely. This one was just a dancer and no one would listen to her but the more who know the further the danger.
His gaze shifted to the dance and he eyed her closely watching for sighs of what is going threw her head. Sef wanted to knock her out cold and tie her up and leave her in the Seer's chambers until after this was over but he would not voice such and opinion. Didn't matter anyways as it was the choice of the Seer he would have to follow.
