Kat looked up when Artemis finished singing.
"You're a wonderful singer." She said quietly before closing her writing notebook and picking up the book on Japan again.

Artemis blushed, too flustered to speak. His eyes caught the window. "Uhhhhg, damnit." He muttered. It was snowing. In July. "Whoopsies." In a blink of the eye, it was sunny and warm again. "Um... tada?"

"Christmas in July....." the green boy chuckled and flipped through Hamlet to his favorite part. When Ophelia totally loses it and hits on the gaurd guy...nothing quite like a crazy girl confusing the hell out of someone...it seemed so relevant even today.

Kat laughed a little as she looked up to the boys again.
"Hey, how does this sound?" She asked before taking a breath and reciting something. "Whenever Mr. Monkey comes to see the Opposite Man, he always brings a gift, to which Opposite Man replies, 'Mr. Monkey, I am Opposite Man, so I say to you that I do not like your gift, and I will promtly throw away once you leave.' Will the Opposite Man keep the gift or throw it away?" She paused. "Do you think it would confuse little kids?"

"Sorry, I only know English, German, and Spanish. But, it's for a nonsense children's book I'm writing, if that's what you were wondering."

Kat thought a minute on what Artemis had said.
"No sé qué quieres decir." She said with a shurg. "I only learned enough Spanish to get me through a couple easy Spanish classes at school. I never took learning the language seriously, since that's what my grandparents spoke."

"I am Omlette, the Danish...." Huntin got up and put the play away in it's rightful place. He hadn't finished it, but he read the parts he wanted to. What to look through next...ooooh Theories of Evolution, science he actually liked. He picked it up from the shelves Arty had kicked over and walked back over to the table, flipping through pages during the little language-off.

"Ich weiß nicht? Ich spreche nicht Deutsches viel. Ich denke, daß wir auf englisch sprechen sollten." Kat said with a shrug. "Not very fluent in that either. I just learned enough to talk to my dad every now and then. Mostly in yes/no questions." She said with a nervous laugh before she noticed the book Huntin picked out.

Huntin shrugged. "It's all pretty much the same thing, but in different ways. A made B made C is one thing, wihle another is A made B made D. Or even 1 made 2 made 5. It's all a bunch of macho tough guys wanting to prove Darwin wrong. Nothing new."
He skimmed through a few pages before reading over one thoroughly.

Kat laughed a bit at Huntin's explanation.
"Those would fit into my book almost perfectly." She said before grabbing her pencil and writing what he had said down in the margin of a page.
"'If Neither Ned made Whether Lady, who made Opposite Man, who made Neither Ned and Opposite Lady. Who made Mr. Monkey?' Mercedes questioned Mr. Moo. 'I do not understand the question, Mercedes. Why don't you ask Neither Ned?' Mr. Moo replied to the girl." Kat chuckled a bit. "I am gonna give little kids headaches and psychological problems."

"Then you don't speak English, German, and Spanish. You speak English and a bit of German and Spanish." Artemis said with a sneer, "Whereas I speak them fluently, along with French, Italian, Russian, Dutch, and Portugeses, with a bit of Japanese, which I am studing now."

"Whatever. Not many people speak anything other than English in the south. So normally I can basically put together words that make no sense with each other and get away with it." She said before picking up the Japan book again and flipping through it halfway.
"Where are you learning Japanese at?" She asked, obviously having an interest in Japan.

River had been silent, trying to keep out of the conversation.She stood up, moving and putting her book back on hte shelf. She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes and sat down pulling out her music book.... Cursed Music.... She loved it.... But she hated it at the same time.... She fipped throu it and read the "Eveybody" By Stabilo boss page. Reading 2 of the lines she shot a glance at Artemis. "Gr.." She growled the lines sounded like them.. and that agrevated her...

Kat looked at River, who was growling for an unknown reason, although she figured it had something to do with Artemis, from the way she glared at him.
"'If Mr. Monkey is Opposite Man's pet, then why does Mr. Monkey give Opposite Man a gift whenever he visits him? Shouldn't Mr. Monkey stay at Opposite Man's house?' Mercede's asked Mr. Moo. 'Mr. Monkey lives behind Opposite Man's house.'
'If that is not my house, who's house is it?' Opposite Man asked Mr. Moo and his friends." Kat paused while she wrote that down in her writing book. "Yeah, definitely gonna give kids psychological problems."
