Chris danced as the bright lights pulsed through the livivng room, as the music ran through the room, booming in everyone and anyone's eardrums. In the front, the other Chris sat with his girlfreind Amara, flirting. He just danced with some of the random girls, but soon sensed someone else... someone he recognized. He looked up to see two triangular ears peeking up over the crowd of the many mutants who attended the one night party. He moved through the crowd, searching to follow the girl he called his love. He finally reached her... only to find it to be someone else. He was quickly pulled aside by some of the other girls in the institute to dance with them... Untill he felt a hand on his shoulder
"Yeah. So, thats the basics of it, Amara." He said loudly, trying to talk over the loud music that was playing throughout the room. He was the D.J. for the party, and was working the controlls. He pulled up his keyboard, typing in a new key command, as a new song, Usher's 'yeah' started playing throughout the room loudly.

Amara, being she-who-is-bewildered-by-all-technology, just stared hopelessly at her boyfriend, utterly confused. She had listened to him explain what he was doing step-by-step, even asking him to repeat things, but she just didn't understand it. She had learned about computers and the internet fast enough, which made some homework easier, but pretty much everything like music controls and iPods, she didn't understand.

He smiled, putting his arm around her shoulders. "Right over you'r head, wasn't it?" He asked with a chuckle.

"I don't have the slightest clue what in the world you were talking about." Amara grinned at him sheepishly. "You just make it all look so simple and easy."

He shrugged. "Well.. I'm a guy. These things come naturally for me." He said, leaning over to kiss her on the cheek. "Y'know what.... I got an idea." He said, pulling out his cellphone from his pocket, dailing in a number quickly. "Hi. Mark? Ya, can ya replace me? I got a date and my butts getting numb here." He said, as another mutant came over to replace him as the D.J. "C'mon baby, lets dance." He said, gently grabbing her by the hand and leading her out to the dance floor.

Dance? Now, there was something she could do. To make up for her pathetic knowledge in techonological areas, Amara could dance very well. Even if the music sounded rather strange. She laughed as Chris pulled her out on the dance floor.

He smirked as the new DJ started to play a slow song, so he took ahold of the chance. He wrapped her around in her arms as the song played, dancing slowly and romanticly.

Amara smiled slightly as she new song began and Chris took her in his arms. She rested her head on his shoulder, extremely content. Amara was now very happy with the idea of relationships and could not understand why she had been so terrified before about them.

He and Amara danced the night away after a fast song started up again and then to when the party ended.
Chris walked down the hallway, half asleep, with Amara, as he went over to his room. "Wow.. fun party, wasn't it?" He asked with a yawn, as he reached over to the doorknob of his room, twisting it to open it. He stumbled a bit, and since he was still holding Amara in his arm, she fell atop him.

They fell in a rather....awkward position. Of course, Amara, realizing thier position, rolled off of her boyfriend and sat up, blushing violently. They had had a lot of fun at the party, and now it was time to say good-night so she wouldn't be missed at the dorms. She was co-captain of the really "green" newbies, plus Tabitha, so she should try and set an example for the younger mutants.

If he didn't know any better, he would've said he was drunk. "Oh.. Sorry, baby." He said, sitting up to kiss her on the cheek. He stood up and helped her up, leading her out his door. "G'night.." He said, kissing her goodnight.. but on the lips.

The kiss took her by surprise, but, still, she had to admit, it was nice. Amara broke the kiss off, kissed Chris lightly on the cheek and then murmured, "Good night, Chris." She smiled again, before starting on her way to the dorms.

He smirked, closing the door as he went to his bed, laying down with an excited smile. He was probally drunk, but he didn't care. He couldn't stop thinking of Amara... but eventually fell asleep.
