Tretin glanced over at Huntin and nodded when he asked her if she was okay, she kept her arms folder beneath her chest, "Yeah I'm alright thanks...sometimes I get these migraines." She said softly. She grinned at Hannah when she came into the room introducing herself and listened intently to the conversation lifting a brow upon the mere mention of school, for some reason she was under the impression that the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters also had academic courses, then she realized she would've known that had she read entirely through the brochures and information packets instead of rushing through and focusing her attention on being around other mutants, the swimming pools and horses.
She listened when Hannah mentioned she was home schooled and considered it as an option, however she wouldn't mind going to a regular school so long as it had other mutants. So she spoke up as Hannah looked to her asking if she had anymore questions. "Does the school have a lot of other Mutants, and does the Institute have curfews? Could come and go off campus as we please?" She asked curiously.

"Yeah, a couple of mutants go to the high school." She answered, turning her attention to the girl nearest to her. "As for curfews, only the younger kids have those and even then they aren't that strictly enforced, least not by me. If you're over 15, there's no curfew. And you can leave campus if you want, but I'd advise telling someone beforehand."

A small smile slide across her lips, she was happy that for her, there wasn't a curfew. "Sweet, I think I'm gonna like it here."

Grant smiled at Tretin. "It's not all easy street. Just remeber that." HE wasn't trying to scare her or anything just forwarn her.

Huntin nodded. "Better than a roadside bar." No curfew. No having to sneak around. No body makeup. Paradise.

"Wait a minute. Since this is a school and you are all underage, no drinking and no smoking. At least not inside the mansion. Or within a one mile radius of the mansion. Outside one mile, do what you please. Just be smart about and don't come home completely high or wasted." Hannah smirked at their reactions.

Tretin nodded as well but wondered what exactly Grant meant by it not being "All easy street" however, she didn't want to ask or really know just yet. So far in her fairytale frame of mind the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters seemed to be a "perfect place" from the moment she heard about it and started nagging her parents, she had a habit of seeing things this way whenever she was excited about something, as if there were cherubs with harps singing and fluffly bunny rabbits hopping about everywhere. She made a mental note to keep Grant's words in mind, just so she won't be completely crushed when her bubbles started to burst. One just did as Hannah had to mention that no one were to come home drunk right after she envisioned all the hard partying she would do without her parents being around. "Damnit." She muttered.

"Awwwww....no martini parties?" He pouted and kicked the carpet playfully. He hadn't been planning any keg deliveries or anything, so he wasn't exactly bummed. He was too much of a good kid to do anything illegal, even drinking -- breaking into someone's house and sleeping in their attic was a TOTALLY different thing.

"Trust me, you don't want to be caught stumbling to your room at four in the morning completely drunk. Besides having a massive hangover, there's a whole bunch of grounding involved. Plus extra chores. My first week here wasn't pretty." Hannah smiled good-naturedly.

Huntin chuckled. "I'll remember to stay away from the gin and tonics then." Then a thought struck. "Hey...who is the guy that runs this place anyway? Professor Xavier, right?" He pushed some hair out of his eyes. "Is he like an actual person or did someone just come up with a cute name for the place?" He hadn't gotten any brochure on the place, so everything was pretty new to him.

"Yeah, the Prof is real. I've been here since I was, like, ten. So that's seven years. Trust me, he's great. But he's also really busy with running this place and protecting it from the government, anti-mutant groups, etcetera."

A soft nod. "Understandable." Wouldn't be such a good school if the mortality rate was higher than the graduation rate, now would it? He was about to ask what the Big Cheese's powers were, but decided against it. Not exactly polite to talk about someone's "gifts" behind their back.

"Okay then....Huntin. Team assignments. I'm hoping that everyone on this list is in here." She muttered, pulling a list from her pocket. "Mister Huntin Wilcox, Omega team . Miss Tretin Pierce, Alpha team. Miss Emma Frost, Zeta team. Mister Grant Nanora, Zeta team. These assignments are pretty much subject to change at any time as we see fit." She looked up from her list, hoping that the said names on the list matched the occupants of the room. "This is how it works. You live, train and go on missions with your team, whether you like it or not. Any questions concerning that?"

Do we have to live, train, or go on missions with our team? Nah, no time to be a smartass. Wait....missions.
"Woah, wait. Missions? What kind of missions?" Freaking old lady. She deffinitely said NOTHING about missions in the car.

"Whatever missions you're called on for." Hannah had assumed they would know they'd be expected to fight. "Potentially life-threatening missions and the lot. But most of the time the senior X-Men are called for the dangerous ones. Doesn't mean you're off the hook. Usually a couple of teams with new mutants go along too. You do know that you're expected to fight, right?" She asked, looking from one to the other.

Huntin blinked. "Okay, I know what a mission is I mean like, why missions? What the hell are we gonna be fighting?" No one told this boy he was going to have to fight. "You know, I hate to sound like a whinerbaby," which he knew he was and at the moment didn't care. "But why come to a school if we are just gonna be taught to be soldiers? Isn't this place supposed to be all love-your-fellow-mutant and use your powers for good, not fighting?"

"'Love your fellow mutant'?" Hannah felt like laughing. "Chico, if it were that easy, we'd be handing out hugs and puppies. But it's not. You don't have to fight, but It's good to know how when you need to. Trust me, it will come in handy. Whether you stay here or not, it's good to know basic combat. Now for who we're going to be fighting, think about it this way, who aren't we gonna be fighting, chico? There's the Brotherhood, the occasional over-enthused anti-mutant groups, government agencies that want us either dead or want to experiment on us. Now tell me, if people were to come after you to torture you, wouldn't you fight?"

He thought for a moment. ".....actually I'd just poof to a mile away, but I guess fighting could be useful." He smirked a bit. "Just wanted answers, chica." He was about as Spanish as Danny DeVito. "The Brotherhood...lemme guess...kind of like this group here...but all bad and stuff?" He motioned to the mutants around him and looked up at their faces.

"Kinda. They're all about booming and blowing things up and crap. Which we still do here, not that Xavier appreciates our rather common destruction of property." Hannah smiled at hearin his response. "Gotta say, chico, you remind me a lot of Nightcrawler. It's a compliment."

He blinked for a moment. "Nightcrawler?" He smiled since it was apparently a compliment, but was honestly baffled. He played with CreepyCrawlers from Milton Bradley when he was younger, but he honestly didn't know anything about Nightcrawler. He crossed his arms in modesty. One of his first compliments there.
