Pain chuckled and pointed at X-T. "You think you are so clever and funny. More make-up? You're just like the kids at my old school." He ran at her and kicked out at her stomach.

X-T took it, but quickly flipped backwards and kicked him in the jaw. She landed on her feet and stood up straight.
"Aw, did those bad kids pick on ya too much? That why ya come here and mess with us? So ya can feel like yer over th' top?" X-T said putting her hands on her hips and raising and eyebrow.

Chance's skin burned with the sensation of Midnight's touch. He watched in horror as her face contorted, her body trying to fight off whatever was trying to take control of her. His own face was red with pain and emotion as he tried to keep her body from fading into misty smoke, all he wanted was a few seconds to be with her, to hold her and tell her how much he loved her. In quick flashes memories of the prior months played in his mindseye. He remembered the feeling he had when he first met Midnight, the mystery and the beauty, her eyes...two glowing embers of fire. But then, his mind was taken to the months he had without her, to the months after Weapon X. He felt his stomach doing backflips as he reminised about the sleepless nights he spent shamefully crying himself to sleep. He couldn't lose her again, not now, not ever.
"Midnight!" He yelled, his strong hand clamping down on hers. "I know you can fight this. You practically came back from the dead...a little darkness should be nothing for you!" He tried to make her smile, he wanted to see her happy, if only for a brief moment. "Marie," he said using her real name, "I love you!"

Pain felt his jaw break. He landed on his back. His jaw began to heal as he stood up. "I made life for them kids Hell. I got back at them. I just sick of New Zealand." Pain glared at X-T, his eyes were blazing. "Darlin' I am playing fair, you know I can make you relive the worst memories of your life." He made a quick flash of a memory go through her mind.

Midnight's body started to shake and her lips parted as if to let loose a scream, but only a soft moan escaped. She held on to Chance's hand, her own gripping as hard as she could, as if that was the one thing that kept her from falling over a cliff. Then her eyes clenched shut and she groaned again but this time it escalated into a scream. Darkness shot out of her like a flood, bursting up to the sky... then it was all gone. Midnight collapsed on the ground, her hand now limp in Chance's.

Doyle watched as what ever ancient evil possessed Midnight was expelled from her body through her mouth. This was what Doyle had be waiting for.
Doyle looked back at the war machine as he stomped towards him. Doyle knew he would have to waste far to much energy to defeat the monster and Doyle had more pressing matters with Midnight to deal with. Doyle knew he would have to kill several people to return to the state he is at now if he continued fighting with Dreadnought. It was not worth the effort in Doyle's black eyes now. More so when the reason he came had nothing to do with the mansion, Health and Lizard girl or Dreadnought.
Doyle lashed his tendril out infront of him and tighten them once they gripped something. He began to lend back as he picked and throw himself forward well over Dreadnought using his tendrils to catapult him. Doyle looked like a black spider jumping for the top side of the mansion.
Doyle landed tendrils first to absorb the impact from his throw. Doyle turned and looked down to where Chance and Midnight were. Doyle stayed vertical as his tendrils moved about and rearranged quickly so that he could from the roof onto the two.
Midnight had attacked him twice now. Well it was more of the darkness that did it. Doyle needed to protect himself from her demons and the others around her. The mutant had beaten the darkness for now and that made it the easiest time to kill her. Her powers if she had anything at all would be very weak and no match for Doyle. The demon if it could be called such was dangerous and Doyle had seen Midnight attack her own on more then one occasion but she was very dangerous to Doyle and he knew it.
The monster in her could pull Doyle down with it. Doyle knew he was villain and would go even as far to call himself a monster but he needed to be to live. It was the cards he was shuffled and it had destroyed the person he was. Midnight in his mind was already taken. If he killed her he would not only save himself but everyone else as well.
Doyle knew Eric would protect her through and he was powerful. Even subduing Chance's strength would be a very difficult task without his luck working against Doyle. He knew if he was to do it. He would need to kill Midnight in one swift action before Chance would be aware of it. Chance would hunt him down until either one of them was dead but Doyle doing this would have saved Eric as well from Midnight's inner dark.

Vendetterous was not in good shape, the behemouth had taken his toll on him, and Vendetterous was looking about the field watching the various combats take place. what was taking so long is all he thought to himself. He looked back at the behemouth and to the dreadnaught. This was a long day, and he was on the receiving end of the short stick already.
He took another step forwards, daring the behemouth to action.

X-T blinked it, quickly forgetting it.
"Ya know, they say yer worst memories make ya stronger," X-T said, raising her eyebrows up and down.

X-T walked forward, a glare on her face.
"Because the pain I've faced is a lot darker than you're teasings in New Zealand. Some people, not even yer punk self, can exsperience what I went through," X-T said, growling lowly.

*Enter Irene and Negate*
From the mansion there was the crash and twinkling noise of the large window to Professor Xavier's window being broken as two people jumped out of it, maybe because they were fighting, or maybe they were trying to escape, only they knew.
Irene landed neatly and gracefully on the ground her body a little tense as she watched the person she took with her.

The crash from the window break the silents of Xavier's empty office and screamed onto what was the unseen battle , once hidden in the shadows. Normally Alex was the reason for things to be smashed, and making the big entrances. But this time he was face first in a pit of dark wet mud and the tip of the graceful landing feet of Health. Still power down he pushed his finger through the mud and forced his covered face out of it sticky spot. With his face coated in deep caked on dirt his tight closed eyes where unseen. But with a quick flash of a second his eyes burst open glowing, the white shine of his eyes cut thought the darkness of the night. As he slowly stood he placed two finger on his face removing some mud from his lips. The mud dropped of his face and rested at his feet, without a word spoken. He then spit the dirt that raced into his month on his impact right at Health muddles boots. In Alex silences he was telling whom ever was posing as health that he can take anything she can dish out and still have a strength to kick dirt in her face.

"Marie!" Chance felt her body begin to shake and move, as if an evil spirit was being exorcised from her. As he watched her convulse his mind raced, trying to manipulate the odds, do anything to make her be okay.
"Please," he shouted as darkness poured from Midnight, her scream piercing the cosmos. "I've never really taken the time to pray...but please...God...save her." Suddenly it all stopped, the screaming, the contorting, everything.
"Please no," Chance whispered, holding on tightly to Marie's limp hand. "Please no..."

Unlike Ray-Ray, The Machine was extremely logical and cold. Realizing that Doyle was no longer a accessible target it shifted gears to the forms that had popped out of the window.
Thick fog had been kicked up from the fighting. Something the Army called the fog of war. In that murderous mist two malevolently cold eyes stared at the two.
"Primary and Secondary targets acquired. Preparing to engage." The machine charged in front of them using SED nanophages to boost it's speed and stood in front of them, a black adamantine monolith.

Irene merely smirked, "Oh come on you wanted to get out of there as much as I did!" she grinned floating off the ground with her arms crossed. Suddenly her mind went crazy, warning her of approaching danger, Irene turned in time to see the black monolith charge at them and stop between her and Negate, "Great."

As Alex finished removing the mud from his face he had to agree with Health, he did want to leave Xavier's office by any means. Still a little shaken up Alex had no time to plan a counter attack before a large figure races between the two. Not knowing if this shaded character was one of Xavier's freaky followers or the pon of another with fist closed tight he stood wanting for an answer.

As the Dreadnought stood between them it focused on Irene first.
"Engaging Primary target." the punches it threw at her were hard and heavy enough to crush bone and marrow, without the pistons.
