Full Name: Anastasia Olivia Ryan
Codename: Tidal
Age: 15
Birth Day: December 15
Hair color: Brown
Eye color: Brown
Height: 5’4"
Weight: 105
Personality: Anastasia, also called Stacey, is what most people would say, easy-going. At first meet, Stacey would come across as your everyday All American teenager. Smart, Polite, you get the picture. While Stacey is normally easy-going & quiet, do not rub her the wrong way. She doesn’t necessarily have a temper, but she does take offense very easily, especially when comments are made about her, or comments about her friends especially. Stacey is what sympathetic, kind adults call ‘shy’ but unsympathetic peers call it ‘snobby’. Either which way, Stacey is the kind of person everybody gets along with, unless she’s provoked. Basically, Stacey is ‘normal’ when it comes to tempers and attitudes. Cool, Calm and Collected. She is constantly reminded of her past, which makes her undeniably shy & depressed. But look beyond the pitiful image. You’ll like what you get to know.
Appearance: Cassie Steele ( Her Image will be in my profile soon)
Parents' Name: Michael & Stacey Ryan
Powers: Stacey has the power to manipulate water. Basically, she is the water version of Pyro, able to control bodies of water. She is young, so her powers are limited, but she is however, able to control bodies of water as big as swimming pools. She can also create 'water bombs'.
Weaknesses: Anastasia becomes extremely weak after using her powers for a significant amount of time. After controlling, say, a large body like a swimming pool density, for a little over 30 minutes, she becomes weak, possibly faint. Anastasia is not what you would call a social butterfly. She tries to avoid tension and arguments as much as possible. When she is angry, her powers sometimes exceed her control, which is what Professor Xavier is working his best on to control. Anastasia also does'nt know how to handle her feelings, ecspecially when drama arises.
Affiliation: Xavier’s
Skills: Stacey has amazing cooperation and negotiation skills, and while many people think she is destined to become a major in business, she believes her true calling is Drama.
Interests: Stacey has an intense interest in Drama, acting basically. Journalism is also a love of hers, but she love photography more deeply than both of these.
Bio/History: December 15, 1990. The wind blew around them as a young couple crowded into the hospital, where the young lady gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Anastasia Olivia Ryan. While it may seem like a fairy-tale ending, don’t kid yourself. Stacey Ryan loathed her young daughter with a passion, as did her husband, Michael. Having very large social power and an even bigger income, Michael and Stacey did not welcome the girl into their lives. It ruined their ‘plan’. But, they still had to put up with her, feed her, clothe her. As Stacey grew older, she knew to stay out of her father’s way, and, unfortunately, knew the consequences even better. When she had siblings, Anastasia watched from afar as her parents adored their two younger children, not giving her the time of day. By the age of 9, she had been through Abuse, Neglect, and depression. Not being able to take it much longer, emotional stress poured upon the young girl, causing strange things to happen to her, but she fond it weird. It only happened when she was near water. Around the age of 10, she was splashing in her family’s pool, and raised her hand to her eyes, causing the usually still water to raise over her head. Freaking out, Anastasia ran to the steps, frantic to get out. As soon as she started to run, arms flailing, the water raised even higher, threatening to raise over the fence around her yard. In a desperate attempt to stop it, Anastasia put both her hands up. Amazingly, the water stood, calm. She ran inside, only to be grabbed by her father. The high-powered lawyer beat the crap out of her, and she took it, crying quietly. “I will not have a freak in my house.” She remembered those exact words, even years later. Anastasia knew about mutants, who didn’t? But how did SHE become one? A million question racked her brain, but Anastasia just went quietly to her room, packing her belongings silently leaving. She ‘braved the elements.’ In her home in California, that meant over hyper tourists. Using her fathers credit card, she took four buses and two trains to get to her destination…Xavier’s Institute for Gifted Youngsters, the place she had heard her father loath for all these years. She knew exactly where it was, due to his constant verbal hate of the school. She arrived quietly, scared, frightened. But mostly, confused. She has been there ever since, trying to get herself in order and get her life together.
Example Post: Anastasia heaved her suitcase up the large steps , clutching her hoodie tightly. She was exceptionally small for her age, and appeared to be much younger than her allotted age of 120 She looked up at the large, wooden door, biting her lip softly. She had come 500 miles from her house to this mansion, desperate for an answer. She reached over, prepared to grab the huge wooden knocker, when the door opened with a jolt. She jumped up, in apparent startle as she was met head on with a kindly looking man with a wheelchair. “H-H-Hi. My name is Anastasia.” She said in a shaky voice, clutching her belongings tighter. She watched as the door was open wider, revealing a young looking male, wearing a pair of sunglasses. “Ah, we were wondering when you’d arrive. My name is Professor Xavier” The older man said, reversing his wheelchair. “Please, Come in. Scott, take the burden of that suitcase off that young lady.,” He directed to the sunglasses wearing man. Anastasia appeared frozen in her steps, not daring to move. “We won’t hurt you, sweetie.” A kind voice rang out. Anastasia looked up as a young looking woman with red hair entered the doorway. “My name is Jean Grey, and this is Scott.”
She smiled sweetly, putting an arm around Anastasia as she pointed to the man with the shades, who lifted her suitcase out of her hand. Anastasia stiffened, close to tears. “Now, Now, there’s nothing to be afraid of.” Came the deep voice of the wheelchair man. Anastasia frowned, wondering how he could of known if he was facing the other direction. She felt the first tear start to slip, and couldn’t stop them after that. She sobbed loudly while jean Grey led her into what appeared to be the living room. She turned and watched as ten kids ran to the door, startled as one of them walked straight through it. “They have powers to.” She whispered to herself, eyes wide. Professor Xavier smiled widely, seemingly pleased. “That’s right. We all do. Welcome to My Institute for Gifted Youngsters, or as most people would say, mutants.” Anastasia leaned into Jean Grey’s arm, feeling a new feeling unfamiliar to her. Home.
