It was early morning, too early, infact, for the French teen Artemis. But today was different. He was up and dressed, moving around as if it were past noon already.
/Today is special,/ thought Artemis with a grin as he moved down the cooridore to Eliza's room, /Hopefully, this will make up for it./
It had only been a day since the shoot, since they had skipped out on school to go out to eat, since Artemis had ditched Eliza to go 'take care of something'. That something had been this, or had lead up to it. Either way, Artemis was still nervous. What if she rejected it? What if he had hurt her too badly? What if, what if, what if?
Nevertheless, Artemis rejected these thoughts as he snuck into his female friend's room. It was empty, as he had hoped. He opened the small velvet box in his hand, gazing down at the silver heart shaped locket that lay inside of it, just to check if it was there. Then, moving slowly, he set the box on her nightstand along with the note, then hurried out the door. The note was a simple poem, and he had not signed it, but he hoped she would understand it. It read:
For all I cannot say For what has gone unsaid For everytime I hear your words Resounding in my head
For all that is regretable For those fallen tears For every time I wish I'd spoken What you wanted to hear
For everytime I think of you For every curse I have spoken For that time I could not reply Please accept this token

Eliza walked into the room, she had just managed to down some breakfast and now was heading for the dangeroom. Slowly she put on her uniform and without another glance around the room she left heading for training.
