The winds swept over the swiss Alps, a gentle spring breeze in contrast to the usual bitter cold. Within the walls of Strauss castle, a few people were enjoying the fresh wind that blew through the castle windows.
Inside, Young Johan (Johnny) was chasing his hister around the castle in a game of tag. "I'm gonna getcha!" He giigled happily. As they came to the massive staricase, the girl ran up the stairs too fast, and slipped.....
Only to be caught by her father. "Be careful on those steps little one." He said in a soft yet firm tone. " I woldn't want you to hurt yourself." From his soft smile, the girl could tell he was joking.

"Okay Daddy." Little Onyx replied, tail wagging back and forth happily. She looked over at her olders brother, letting out a soft growl as she scurried out of her fathers grip to run from him
Emerald walked over by Fangry's side, tail wagging back and forth happily. She knew her husband was always overprotective of Onyx and he always would be. "Trying to make sure nothing happens to your little girl?" She asked him slyly as she watched the children scurry up the stairs.

"Yes, I do try to watch out for her." He replied. Wolfgang stood a little taller now, his hair was cut much shorter, and his accent was long gone. "You seem very cheerful, I take it you had a good day?"
"Mommy! Mommy! She cheated! She went to daddy for help the boy quailed, burying his face in his mother's skirt.

"Yep and I finally Suceded in cooking vegtables without burning them!" Emerald said with a wild grin, she had just started suceding in her cooking.
She looked down at her son with a smile playing on her lips. "Oh really, arent you cheating now by asking me for help?" Emerald asked in a quizzical tone. "Why dont you to play rock paper sisors to see who wins, you cant cheat in that."
Onyx ran over to her father and hugged him tightly. "Daddy!" She hugged her father's leg tightly. She ignored her borther as she hugged her fathers leg. "You are the best!"

"You didn't burn them? That's great!" He said, teasing her. "Maybe soon, you can actually cook a dish that isn't lethal!" He kissed her playfully.
He looked down at Onyx, and grinned. "Thank you, little one!" He picked her up, and soun her through the air. "And would my little angel care for a dance?" HE laughed swinging her around the room. Annoyed, Johnny stuck his tounger out at his little sister.

Emerald let out a soft growl of playfulness as he kissed her. She looked down at her son sticking her tounge out at her Daughter. The wolf girl rolled her eyes before morphing into her wolf form. She dipped her head underneath Johnny and rolled him onto her back.
"How about a quick run around the castle?" She asked, tail wagging back and forth.
Onyx stuck her tounge out at her brother as her tail wagged back and forth. She looked at her father, smiling happily. "Okay Daddy! Lets dance!"

The boy hung on to his mother's fur, and smiled as they raced through the castle. His hair was blown back by the rush of wind. "Faster, mommy, faster!"
Wolfgang laughed, spinning his dagughter around in the air. Her laughter sounded like the chimes of soft bells in his ears. Thier 'dance continued out on the rampatrs, as the glittering rays of the sun shone down upon them. Finally, he slowed down. "We'd better go back inside, little one, your mother should have dinner ready by now."

Emerald oblidged as she ran faster all the way into the kitchen. She skidded to a Halt and allowed Johan to step off. SHe morphed back into her human form. She had surprisngly cooked an entire meal without burning anything...well except for the bottom of the rolls.
"Johnny do me a favor and set the table." Emerald said to her son with a smile.
Onyx giggled happily at her father, tail wagging back and forth. "Okay Daddy! Can you carry me there?" Onyx asked, using her bright blue eyes that she had Inheritited from her mother to look at her father. "Please"

Wolfgang nodded. "Of course, little one!" Picking her up, he brought his little girl inside, and towards the kitchen. Meanwhile, Johnny put the silverware on the table. "Daddy says you'll actually make the food taste good this time mommy, and not make it all burned and yuccky like usual." Wolfgang's face became flushed as he walked in just as his som was saying that. "I... uh...uh oh..."

"Oh really?" Emerald asked with a devilish grin on her face. She looked at her Husband Wirly. "I think That means Daddy is voulenteering to cook for us tommrow to see how good his cooking is." Emerald grinned eviily at her husband.
"Daddy why is mommy looking at you like that?" Onyx asked, poking her fathers head

"Your mother has me on the spot again about complaing about her cooking." Wolfgang sighed. "Okay, you win! I'll make pizza tomorrow he sighed in defeat. Sitting down at the table, Wolfgang looked up at the stove. "So, what on the menu, dearest?"

"Fish sticks and French fries!" Emerald grinned evilly. She smiled as her daughters eyes lite up instantly. She put the plate of fishsticks and fries
"Mama is making french fries!" Onyx cheered, tail wagging back and forth happily. "Daddy put me down please so I can have french fries!"

Wolfgang set her down so she could eat, then went over and picked up a french fry, and took a bite. "Ow, ziz iz too hvot!" He said, his mouth burning.
(Whenever he gets upset, he slips back into his accent, lol!)

Taking a drink of water, he looked back and laughed. "Very funny." Wolfgang sat down to eat. "Say have you seen Hannah recently? I wonder how she and the girl's are doing?" At the same time. Johnny stole an extra fishstick off his sister's plate.
(This will touch on what happened to Fritz in the future)

"Hannah and I have been keeping contact by phone but I havent seen her in a few weeks or so." Emerald said biting into a fishstick without any trouble.
Onyx growled at Johnny and snatched a fishstick off of her brothers plate. She stuck her tounge out at him before continuing to eat.

Onyx slightly shrank back at the sight of her older brother's fangs but still kept eating.
