Klassic nodded, and swayed a little, he was uneasy on his feet and the loss of blood was beginning to make him a little light headed. He handed his long rifle to one of his soldiers.
"Let me go first, you need someone to draw some fire."
Klassic bagan to ascend the stairs, dragging his leg but making it up with realtive silence. Klassic had left his rifle behind, taking a pistol instead. The upper level had been a small area and Klassic was going to go in and draw their fire so the others could come up behind and finish sweeping the room, This battlement had to ba taken.
Klassic burst up through the hatch, his pistols blazing as jumped through. He cought a fair share of rounds, but his flak could protect him better from the small arms fire being used to guard the door. He dodged and rolled to one side, leaving the opening clear for the others co come up through.

X23 leaped up behind him as the pistol shots filled the air, claws flying. There were many men on the roof, trying to sniper the Rebels in the battle below. She could see the horsemen, soldiers dropping before them. Pain clouded her eyes, the only type of pain that could affect her, pain in the heart. Shaking her head, she focused on the battle. They were dead to her now. She let the anger pump through her veins again, slashing and tearing at the people, a howl in her throat.

The battle was over nearly as quickly as it had begun, x23 had made sure of the sucess, the other five had hardly gotten a shot off before the enemies lie dead. Klassic was off near a wall, resting. He signaled to his soldier to begin firing on the enemies, to defend thier lady. Klassic then motioned to x23.
"go to them, we can hold this fort, they need you on the line." Klassic was now coughing up blood, he hated the taste as it rose in his throat. He spit it up all over the front of his mask. He took off the mask, revealing his disfigured face, the hideous radiation and chemical burns covering all of his face, it was a miracle he had survived the exposure at all, but he did. Klassic put a hand on x23's shoulder.
"I will die with honour, for a cause I can be proud of, now go forth and show them what betrayal means." Klassic coughed again, now a steady stream of blood welling out of his mouth, and he had begun to bleed through his bandages. It was not a good sign, he did not have much time left, but he could live with what he had done, no regrets looking back.
"No regrets, I have made up for my sins, all that waits is the final jusgement." Klassic smiled weakly, his teeth already stained red with blood, and his body went limp for just a moment. He came back, he was not sure for how long, but he was back. one stray bullet, just the one was all that had been enough to kill him.
"my rifle" Klassic called.

X23 nodded, her face remaining the same hard mask it usually was, but she raised one hand to clasp his on her shoulder. "With honor," she echoed. "I could try and find Health..." she offered, but she had a feeling that he had already prepared himself for the end, and he was marching forward to meet it.

"Stupid girl," Iris growled as she watched Eliza challange him. She obviously didn't know what she was up against, and that she was in the way of Iris casting a door to suck Apocalypse into.
Eliza dodged and stuck her tongue out at Apocalypse as he tried to blast her with his powers, "Hehe, try again!" she giggled and dodged again only to dance a jig on Apocalypse's head before flying into the air.

Death's eyes narrowed as he watched the girl make sport of their leader. As the soldiers around him dropped dead on the ground, their systems no longer functioning, he walked toward Apocolypse with a purpose. Raising a hand, lighting arched out of his fingers, danced over the ground and heading straight for the girl Eliza.

Klassic coughed once more, and forced a weak smile at the mention of honour. He was prepared for the end. He opened his communication channel, and forced one last message to all the units under his command.
"My brothers and sisters, this day cannot end in anything but victory. We may be outmatched or out numbered, but we are the divine hand of retribution, an eye for an eye, and a life for a life." Klassic fell silent again, slipping out of consciousness only to be shaken back in.
He peered over the ledge at the battle raging below, and spent the last few moments of his life distributing his revenge upon the enemy below...

X23 nodded again. He did not request a healer. These were Klassic's final moments. Leaping over the edge, X23 embedded her claws in the war-scarred side of the building, allowing herself to slide down with her own momentum and weight without hurting herself. She hit the ground and retracted her claws, walking calmly toward the battle, a purposeful anger smoldering in her green eyes. Death was heading for the young Eliza and she needed to be kept safe, but there was also Negate... She could see his empty eyes, watch his hair flowing black over his shoulders. He needed to be taken care of. Alex was gone.

Eliza screamed as Death's tentacles wrapped around her bringing her to the ground. She tried to rip herself free but found her energy quickly fading. But this wasn't what was suppose to happen, wasn't she suppose to become queen? Eliza closed her eyes and tried to concentrate her power tob live.
Meanwhile in the palace, the Queen suddenly doubled over in pain.

Alex could wait. She wasn't sure she could get through to him anyway, but she still needed to tell him, even if she didn't survive this. The young Eliza was the Queen before the Queen, and if something happened to her... well, even if it didn't matter in the larger scheme of things, this was still the Queen, and X23 owed her her loyalty. She pushed off, jumping in front of the bolts of sizzling electicity, writhing as it coursed through her body and her claws. Her body covered Eliza's as her green eyes rolled up in her head, her mouth open in a silent scream. Pain...

Pestilence stood alone surround by still bodies. Twisted and mangled corpses surrounded him with sheer terror written on there faces. No one else had approached his positions since he had obliterated the squads of the freedom fighting rebels but there cause did not seem so great now. Pestilence wondered how many of the men in the squad if they had a choice to face him or flee would do. Pestilence knew the answer instantly. They would run, only the most courages and bravest of men could face a horse and not flee. These poor souls just had no idea what they faced and Pestilence had given them no choice.
Pestilence turned back to see how Apocalypse was faring. To his surprise someone had made it all the way to him. Apocalypse looked furious and Death had the culprits well under control. Pestilence turned to the dark swirlling blackness and spun around before shooting himself back towards Death and Apocalypse. Pestilence reform near the execution that had begun. Pestilence saw great energy in the two and wished he was feeding on them but settled for watching Death work on the two.

"X-23!" Eliza screamed as the older woman threw herself at Eliza taking the blunt of Death's attack, "No you can't die, you can't just throw yourself away like this!" Eliza said her body begining to glow, strangely her accent disapeered. Her eyes narrowed as she left a strange sensation through her body, like something was feeding her life energy.

Klassic used his dying strenght to hoist his long rifle up onto the ledge for one last shot, to buy them time. He took aim of the one whom x23 had jumped infront of the attack. He was steady, just like it was any other shot on any other day. He took aim, head shot, clean the 50 cal rifle would do its job, probably not kill him, apocolypse had messed with life and death making his elite far greater, but it would throw him off. Klassic whispered one last thing, "remember me..." He squeezed the trigger, the shot rang out, and Klassic was dead.

Orion, slightly annoyed at interferance in his elimination of the pest, just decided to kill the young woman before going back to the girl. She was learning how it felt to be tortured by electricity, have it surging through the veins and sparking the muscles, opening the skin and singeing the hair. That was something he had learned so long ago, back when he had to fight physically for his life. Now he was doing to others what they had done to him. A sweet form of revenge.
BANG!
Blood spurted out of the side of Orion's head, his blue eyes widening. The electricity stopped surging from his fingertips and completed a final dance on X23 before disappearing. Orion rocked back and forth, trying to keep his balance, but failing. The tall man fell heavily, blood dribbling down from a gunshot wound in his blond hair, clotting it and slithering around his ear. Orion wasn't dead. If that was all it took to kill a horseman, they would hardly be better than the rest of them, but Death was hurt.
X23's mind offered up a silent thanks to whoever would hear it for the cessation of the electricity. Her clothes smoked, and she had to ground her knee into the rubble to stop a fire. Blood dripped from her ears and nose, her lip had split, and her hair smoked as well. Struggling, she tried to get up and fell. Was there something so great it could kill even her? No matter... she had saved the Queen... for now. Twisted her head painfully, she looked at the girl she was covering, X23's green eyes slightly glazed. "You..." she rasped from a dry throat, "you... should probably," she coughed, and blood splattered on the ground in front of her, "get out... of here." The effort was too much, and X23 dropped her head to the rubble below her to rest it.

Pestilence watched as a bullet passed completely through Death and he keeled over. Pestilence was now more alert and the same would not happen to him. Pestilence would merely buy Death time to regain himself. Once Death fell Pestilence stepped up to deal with those who were attacking Apocalypse directly. He would let Death kill the two for the insult they had made him suffer. Pestilence walked towards the two and noticed how much life energy flowed through the young one. Doyle could have drank his fill of her and she would have not had noticed but now he was augmented by Apocalypse to have an unneed or fillable thrist. With one swift movement a powerful tendril swooped down in an attempt to smash X-23 aside. Merely to keep her from getting her bears as Death recovered from his wound.

"Leave her alone!" Eliza cried out her body glowing a silvery white light as she knocked away Pestilence. Eliza stood there, her hair waving in the wind, her aura growing stronger, but where was she getting the energy from?
Perhaps the earth itself, but who knew, but her life energy was through the roof, and dangit she was mad!
"Rest Laura," Eliza said her voice strangely echoing as she floated towards Pestilence.
"Chase!" Magzie screamed taking her eyes off Hannah for a mere second. And the next thing she knew there was a sword through her stomach. She looked surpised but the smiled a little as she pulled the sword out. Using her Pheromones she made at least ten people attack Hannah before skipping backwards and running to Death.
She had to squint through the light that was coming from one of the rebels but she made it to Chase, "Chase, please tell me your alright," she said dropping to her knees and taking his head in her lap. Perhaps she did have some humanity left in her.

X23's body was thrown aside, and she cracked her head against a jagged piece of concrete, leaving a gash. Her hand reached up and she felt the blood trickle down the side of her head, but at the same time she knew that her lip was no longer bleeding. Eliza told her to rest, and as she did not have a choice, she used her remaining strength to crawl beneath an old wall, now fallen and with metal bars sticking out at odd angles. Her skin tickled as her healing factor took on the difficult job laid before it.
Orion looked up into Magzie's eyes, a faint smile on his face. He held one hand to the side of his head as he spoke, "I didn't know you cared, hon," he said in a half-joking manner. "I think I'll be alright, with time or healing... the little squirt," he said, referring to Eliza. "Jumping around Apocolypse. Ain't good publicity."

"Quit teasing you've always known I've cared," Magzie said gently taking material that had once been a flag for the rebels and bandaging Chase's head.

Famine watched in silences as Death strike a mighty blow to one of the heroic rebels. Her scream seemed to block out the crys of pain from the others. This girl looked familiar, famine jerked his head from side to side trying to get a better look of this weakling. < Her eyes> Famine echoed in his mind < where have I seen those eyes> a gun shot knocked Alex from his trance. The site of Death kneeing in a pool of blood snapped Famine back to his mind set, to have Apocalypse message covering every corner of this weak world. Famine saw Pestilence advice as would he, a load month girl stood infront of Pestilence blasting warning. Pestilence had an endless hunger for energy, and this one seemed to be a battery, he would make good use of her. " The weak will be wash clean " Famine echoed as he rose his hands in the air. The dark clouds smashed and clapped as acid rain drench the land under his feet. The earth choke on the poison and spit out toxic air in large geyser. The earth rumbled and split at his touch, his deathly presents had sent in and was taken hold. The rain now blasting out of the sky stinging the rebels below, burning holes in their weak skin. The land blood dark water from its wounds, the water cared Apocalypse words, with famines curse. As the water moved like oil, reaching out and covering the once green land in a rich thick sheet of death. The rebels feet became stick as it creepy up their legs. His ocean of famine washed over the land like a plague, consuming much of the remaining plant life. Famines work had started, he was the one to clean the earth and start anew. The balance had been thrown off, the wind screeched as large black mist pillars spin from the sky and crashed their tails into the now dry rock below. Riots formed as many tried to run from the wake of Famine, only for them to fall into their tar like graves. Their skin stewed and cracked till clean bones peeked their beauty points to the dying skys.

Iris's eyes narrowed as she glared at Famine, she lifted her staff into the air and brought it down in Alex's direction, a whirlwind appeared around Famine, "Your time is at an end Famine," she said darkly.
