Iris muttered the last words of her spell, as the word left her lips her staff began to tremble and doors began opening up around Apocalypse. From the doors re-enforcements rushed through, creatures, humans, anyone who worshiped Iris were there with a weapon in their hand.
Iris laughed throwing her hands outward, "This is my anger, given to you Apocalypse!" she shouted and laughed again as Raphael turned on Apocalyse.

Pestilence grinned as he feed off of Health. She seemed almost to be and endless source of energy for Pestilence to feed off of. Pestilence watched her in the blackness the entirely engulfed them from the view of others. Then she started to glow bright but the light was unable to piece the darkness around the two but she would be able to see Pestilence. Then something unexpected happened. Pestilence ignored Health as he continued to drain her as he saw Apocalypse had been attacked by his own man. Pestilence started walking towards Pravis with intent to kill and was about to smash Eliza's body head first into the ground. With enough force to drive it well under the earth but then something even more unpredictable happened. Health always had the power to cure people of any aliment and that included manipulation of brain, like that Apocalypse had done to Pestilence. Pestilence stop and grabbed his head as he felt it start to revert back and knew something was happening but what? Then Pestilence knew and turned to face Health who was still in his tendrils held above him. Pestilence raised her higher into the air to smash her upon the ground but just then he release a loud yell as he fell over shaking into convulsions as the chemistry in his brain reverted back to what it had been before Apocalypse had altered Doyle and there deal. Pestilence release many of the tendril holding Health up and they flayed about grabbing, throwing, stabbing, and draining those unfortunate to be near the two. Eliza was thrown back in forth in the air still being drained but to a far less extent then before. Then all at once the tendril fell to the ground as Doyle Opened his eyes and laid staring at the dark sky. He did not remember anything of being a Horse Man or how Apocalypse had broke there deal but Doyle did still retain the part of the bargain he wished for. The need to not feed on the life force of others. Doyle remained still on the ground in a dazed and confused state. Health had been lucky even if the healing of his brain was intentional.

Eliza hit the ground hard and lay still for a moment before rolling into a sitting postion and giggling, "Teehee, I win," she said throwing up her arms and falling backwards.

Doyle sat up and looked about him. There was a great battle happening and he saw much energy about them. Then he notice two of his tendril were holding a person loosely. Doyle also noticed there were corpses around devoid of all energy. Doyle knew only a few mutants that like him could do such a thing but he had no recollection of it happening. He looked to the person who was in his grasp and wondered who she was, where they were and what was happening.

Orion had watched the great giant come out of the portal, while not a horseman, one of Apocolypse's henchmen. He had been a human fighter of old, but now he almost unbeatable. And then Orion saw what could not be. Pravus shoved his fist into Apocolypse's belly. Traitor. But Orion still thought of what Magzie had said, maybe they were on the wrong side. Shaking his head, he stopped fighting to watch what would happen next, yet he did not go to help either. Maybe this killing was unnecessary, maybe it would end now.

A turn of the tide washed over the horseman, where they becoming weak. As Alex stood there with his once lover in his powerful arms, he could still feel the red hot eyes of Apocalypse locked of his thoughts. The silents between the two lasted for only minutes when the screams from the outside world raced into their universe. His hand rose and come to a rest on her warm cheek, his skin warming to her touch. His lips regaining their wet red shade, his thoughts placed aside as the kiss pressed on. The world still casted in its darkness, the battle field sheets in corpses. Apocalypse had set the stage for a wonderful new world, only the strong would live to rule. Only the strong will rule, was he the becoming the weak link in the chain of power. What was he doing, he had a message to spread, a message that had to be burned into the earth herself. No one person will stand in his path, the message will be sent, it will be heard. His eye snapped open, as he gazed out into the nothingness. His free hands smashed into her other cheek, as he forced her head to be straight on with his. His touch was no longer the caring feel of a lover, but the harsh cold snap of a death itself. The areas that his finger pressed into her skin slit and dried, her blood turned to dust as in rushed out. His lips drained the water from her mouth, her breath began to become short, Famine toxic touch raced through her body like a drought. The color of her skin became more like his, the red of her cheek faded as if never there. Her muscles ached in pain as they where forced to releases their juice's. Knowing that her healing factor would save her life only made me hold her longer, he was trusty.

X23 could feel cold death creeping in from his touch, through her limbs, nagging her mind. So this was the end, this was how she was going to die. At least she had seen him one final time, she had said farwell in her own way. "Goodbye, Alex," she whispered, and shoved her claws into the area where his heart was located. That hurt her more than his touch did, but it had to be done. She knew Alex, and he would rather be dead than a monster, he would. Her healing factor was taking over, but it could not heal as fast as he could kill. Her green eyes stared into his white ones, each cold and determined. She was not afraid to die...

The dragon roared as various powers smashed forcefully into her gigantic body. The stress of staying in that particular form overwhelmed her to the point where she was forced to change back to human. Hannah growled and continued to slice at her enemy with her electrical sword, eyes glowing.
((You know what, Hannah's gotta die sometime, and fighting in a war seems like a good way to go. Eliza can do the whole reaction thing or whatever.))

Pravus was by far no match for Apocolypse's power, but he had skill on his side. Apocolypse raised his right fist to deliver a punishing blow, but Pravus countered, deflecting the attack down until he could lock Apocolypse's arm underneith his own. The same followed for the other arm as well. Pravus smiled thinly, it was a wicked evil smile. "You thought you could control me, you thought I would bow to you. Everything dies, nothing lives forever." Pravus then summoned the strength to deliver three massive head butts to Apocolypse, on the third releasing his grip allowing the man to be sent reeling back.

Famine eyes widen as the sound of metal pasted through his white golden armour chest plate. So was this the end, was this the death he had set in motion on his own. He had heard the young woman's heart fulled bye, and was referred to his real name. As the cold metal claw continued to push into his armour not a word was shared by the two. The girl wilted in his hold, her face aged and dripped. His eyes gazed into her, his white eyes showed no signs of lose of life, tho her began to lose that shine. He unlocked his cursed lips from her now dehydrated form, he looked down at where her nails had tried to pierced his chest. Her attacked had infacted entered his body, but had not harmed him. Apocalypse had enhanced his negative energy to the level that his body was just an empty shell, holding a greater spirit. Her claws had been phased through his pale skinned body. As he stares in wonder he dropped x-23 from his poisonous touch, dropping her to the bare dry sandy floor. As she laid on the ground he looked over the enter hole. As he fished his fingers around the marks they closed up and faded away. .He jerked his head up and forward walking pass the fallen, gasping for air x-23. Apocalypse had take away Alex's true form of being and give him a greater purpose, he would not be the weak link . His eyes fixed on Iris as he walked through the howling winds. He glared into Iris darken eyes as the horse of fears raced out his chest . " I am Famine" he yelled as he jumped onto his dark beast and soared into the venomous air. Famine was unsure how so many mutants where still live, the air was filled with Famines grim touch.

X23 lay crumpled on the ground, breath whistling through her wilted lungs, her mouth open and dry as she gasped for air. It hadn't worked. She knew the Famine was not Alex, just a picture of him, but she had still hoped beyond hope that he would die like a normal body. It hadn't worked.
X23's body was filled with pain and twisted, the only thing still whole was the adimentium bound to her skeleton. But by and by, life coursed back through the twisted muscles, wilted organs, and ever her dry eyes. The color of health crept back into her cheeks, but there were still five marks on each cheek, five scars as if she had been burnt there, the fingerprints of Famine. She still lay limp on the ground. Even a healer like her could not recover from death that quickly. But as long as she was not dead, there was still a chance to free Alex. Oh, let her have that chance.

"Hey hun welocme back," Eliza said as her healing factor kicked in and she sat up looking at Doyle and giving him a thumbs up.
Iris felt her energy begining to drain as she held onto her staff as it continued to open doors. She fell down to one knee and concentrated on keeping the doors open, it was the rebels only chance.
She closed her eyes to try to keep her hold on the doors, there was no way she could have seen Famine coming.
"So Hannah are you going to fight me or not?" Magzie asked taking her sword from the head of a rebel.

Pravus was gorssly aware of the tide of the battle, reinforcements had been summoned, but such a force could not win the battle, Apocolypse was simply too powerful. Then something dire caught his eye, it was Iris, he had not recognized her fully before, he had been brainwashed and had to condition his memories back. The world was flashing back all around him, he remembered his internment in that terrible prison, his dinner with Iris, all of his students, right back to his first days, when he realied he truely was a monster.
"I am what I am not because you made me, I am what I am because society beat you to it. You should have left me my memories, I would have fought harder for you, now I will only fight against you. You took away my white unicorn after I had finally found it. Only one person has ever stayed my hand, and that person will never be you." Pravus arched back and let loose a great roar. Something evil dwelt within his cursed soul, a deamon. An Ethereal ressonance echoed from his body. A massive 15 foot tall blood red deamon stood above Pravus. It resembled the beast xavier had seen in that cage in his mind. The deamon was now free, and Pravus would not hold back. The deamon vanished but was not gone, it possessed the body of Pravus, and with the gifts Apocolypse had gifted, would be a fearsome opponent.
"Some things should stay burried, you will not like the monster I have become..." Pravus was furious, his joy had been taken from him for a petty dream by this man. Apocolypse would pay for that sin, the gravest sin of all, and he would pay hard. Pravus would let Apocolypse live only long enough to regret what he had done. He charged forwads, holding nothing back, not caring for damage to the self. He threw his fist into the stomach of Apocolypse, actually lifting the man off the ground. When the dust cleared Pravus had Apocolypse by the throat holding him oof the ground. Apocolypse just laughed in that deep booming mechanical voice. "You think any mere mortal can harm me..." he said. Pravus knew he could never kill the beast, but he might be able to take him to eternity with him.
Apocolypse began to grow in size. Pravus had to let go, he could no longer hold him back. Apocolypse knocked Pravus flying.

Famine sored the sky as he flew through his endless night air. Famine had curse the earth to her final days, the battle field filled with the smell of corpse. Unaware of the other horseman new found mind sets, he continued to rain his black death onto the world. All plant life had been washed form the battle grounds, the land they fight on was now nothing but a large waste land. The earth trembled with gash's as it bleed from within, the sky cried poisonous tears, and the natural life chocked on death itself. As Famine watch from his mighty beast his work flooded the land. But in all his darkness a faint light shimmered through, he gazed pierced the clouds and glared onto a woman, whom rested on her knee. Famine was enraged that light sheened in his deathly grip, he smashed his heels into the sides of his mont and crashed down at the fading light. The nightmare shriek as it felt the spikes of Famine boots slashed at its thick hided. The shriveled desert terrain was demolished at the feet of the power two as they strike the globe with a grim blow. There he stood infront of Iris in all his immortal glory, a once weak head string boy, now a force to be reckon with. Her eyes closed tight, she would not even see her life flash before her eyes when he touched her soft skin. But no matter, death is the only moment in ones life that truly defined their life's worth. If you lived a life of free of ungodliness then you need not fear what follows you. But if you left a woke of unrighteousness and wickedness in your foot steps then death is only the first step to your torturous payment. Alex was now infused with the touch to right the wrongs of the world, to set the wrongs right, to send the moths to the flame. He stood quite as he gazed at Iris in her moment of weakness, he placed his poison hand on the top of her head, pulling her off her knee by her hair. He then wiped his other hand around her fair warm neck, the light the poured from her soul would grow dim by his righteous presents. What ever she was trying to draw energy for she would not be able to finish, not with her death in Famines grasp.

Iris's eyes flew open as she was yanked to her feet by her hair and a cold, dry hand wrapped itself around her neck. She shivered feeling herself being drain, sucked dry, by Famine. Her hand that held her staff shook and then it dropped from her hand, a hollow echoing noise shook the battlefield, almost causing the battle to stop for a moment.
Iris opened her mouth to scream for Raphael but all she could do was reach for him.

Famine watch in wonder as the warm woman shivered at his lethal touch. Her parched form wilted at his finger tips, her grip weaken and her bewildered hold on her staff loosened and clash into his dying terra. His happy gazed of her drying corpse was shifted to the fallen piece of wood as the hollow echoing ring about his ears. With a vigorous foot he strike the staff, splitting it in two.

Hannah smirked roguishly. She recreated her electric sword, "Of course, Magzie. You kind of ran away to the first time. That wasn't any fun." She swept the blade at Magzie's head, ready to counter any attack made at her chest or stomach.

Pravus lifted his head just in time to see what was happening, somethings were more important. He struggled to get up, his leg seemed to be broken or when he looked down he saw the twisted piece of iron rebar sticking through it. However there wasn't time for that now, Iris was dying, the last shred of joy he had in his life was dying. Pravus ran up to the horseman, Famine was the name Pravus had been forced to call him.
"There is no excuse for harming a woman, why don't you act like a man." This was all that was said before Pravus ripped The man away from Iris, throwing him aside. He did not care if the man got back up, all he cared for was Iris.

Iris's eyelids fluttered slightly as Famine's arm was ripped away from her skin. She fell to the ground heavily, her breathing was shallow and weak as she laid there.
"So this is how I die," she thought numbly unable to feel or move her body, "Staff broken, body sucked dry of energy, and the doors closing for renenforcements closing before even half of the army was through."

Pravus...Raphael dropped to his knees next to Iris, He picked her up gently and held her close to him. "Stay with me Iris, please Iris, just stay here with me..." His features softened his expression one of pain, not physical, but a terrible pang in his chest. He did not want her to die, he did not want to live without her again. Raphael had always been a hard man, devoid of strong emotions. However in this one instance, to hold his love in his arms and watch her slip away pushed him over the edge. A single tear rolled down his cheek.
"Iris...I love...you..."
