18 century
Blond hair tied into a tight bun, blue eyes cold and thoughtful. She was wearing a purple dress that was in popular fashion this year. But this wasn't a woman of class, or money she was born into.
Her name was Iris, smart, a fast learner, and one of the deadlist paranormal hunters of her time. Her angel face would say less, but the grim look set in her eyes and lips told other wise.
She was going to her newest account, a man that insisted that Werewolves were plaguing the town, taking off with children at night. Iris, herself, didn't believe in such nonsense, but was prepared in any case.

((Well ye got yer werewolf))
Most of the time she would have stayed away from such a populated village but this time was an acception. Her long red hair was tied neatly in a braid and she wore a simple white shirt of her skirt that basically made her look like a peasant, which is what she needed it to look like.
Emerald was her name and she was a werewolf. She knew that the villagers were skiddish around creatures of the night but she tried to enclose herself as much as she could when she transformed. Unlike most werewolf's she had control over her wolf side..well mostly. Some stupid werewolf however, was taking children and that was stupid cause now most likely someone would hunt the werewolfs down.

"Ms. Iris I'm so glad you answered our letter," the Village id...erm...I mean the village leader greeted Iris as she stepped out of the carriage. Iris scanned the town with narrowed eyes.
"As long as you have payment for me, and follow my rules you will be rid of these creatures that haunt your town by weeks end," Iris said her crisp British voice caused people to look out their window at the fair woman, "Firstly I work alone, no one is to come with me, follow, help, etc, etc. Secondly, well there is no secondly, but be warned sir that your town will be lost if you do anything to anger me," Iris warned her eyes growing dark.
"Yes, yes, come I'll show you to the inn and you can get supper and a bath there," the village leader said handing Iris off to an older woman before fleeing her presence.

Emerald had caught wiff of Iris's scent and backed up abit. She sensed that this woman was definatly bad bad news for her. She was planning on staying in a hotel but a cave would work just as well.
The She wolf came upon the cave she was searching for and curled up into a tight ball before dissapearing into a mid day nap.

Iris nodded curtly to the servent girl who brought her to a room in the inn. Obviously, it was the best room in the inn, but Iris didn't care about that, what she cared about was the tub of hot water poured for her in a curtianed off portion of the room. She shut her door and locked it before stripping off her stratchy clothing and settled down for a bath.
Once she was clean, Iris opened her trunk and took out a white blouse and a pair of breeches. Putting them on she tucked her cross necklace into her shirt, and tucked her breeches into her boots. She then grabbed her crossbow and shouderbag full of her equipment. The sun was setting she needed to work quickly.
She stepped out into the nearby forest just as the last light of day disappeared behind the mountain ridge. When she had traveled in about a mile or so, Iris stopped at a clearing and dropped her bag, and waited.

The moon was full and Emerald slowly felt her body transforming, Musscles buldged, fur grew all over her body and her bones shifted into place. When she was finnally in the werewolf mode she darted outside to start her hunt, leting out a ghostly howl.
She pounced on a deer who was midly grazing and ripped out its throat before feasting. It was good to be a werewolf...

The hair on the back of Iris's neck stood on end as she felt something nearby, from her bag she withdrew a small bottle of white powder and with a graceful spin around herself created a circle. With her hands she began curling her fingers into different positions and the circle began to glow a strange white glow. It was to draw evil to her but also protect her from it.

An unearthly sensation went through emerald and felt drawn to a specifc direction. She bolted and ran straight towards the source.

Iris stood in the cirsle the power coming off of it was giving her a glow also and a wind blew through her hair, giving her a deadly angelic look. As she saw the werewolf come into the clearing she drew her crossbow and aimed carefully. Iris was a dead shot, she need to be for her line of work, but she didn't want to hurt the creature, not yet. She aimed for the creature's right shoulder and let an arrow fly.

"ARO!" Emerald howled as the arrow pierced her skin. She fell for a moment and began nursing her wound. She looked at Iris quizicly and padded up to the circle looking at Iris with curious eyes.

Iris opened her mouth to reply when suddenly a dark shape overhead got her attention and she grabbed her cross bow, "Quickly," she said as an opening appeared in the circle, "Something dark come our way!"

"Vampire," Iris grasped as the figure came into view and she saw that it was a tall, strangely attractive man, but blood stained his face, and his eyes were black.

A growl sounded from Emerald's throat as she stared at the vampire. He had to be the one that was making those kids dissapear pointing all the blame on innocent werewolves. "This will be fun." SHe snarled.

Natalie had heard someone say vampire. Her ears perked and started to pad over. The scent of vampire, human, and wolf was strong in her nostrils. She shivered slightly, her black fur shaking. Although werewolves could defeat vampires, she didn't like coming on one. She stopped before she reached them and sat down on her haunches. The wolf had just spoken in what Natalie thought was English, although her confused brain wasn't sure.
Blood stained Natalie's fur like it had stained her dress the night before. She had decided to go hunting for a different game, one that would not fight back so much. Humans worked in packs and were upset when they lost their young ones, as wolves would be for their own, but Natalie had needed to eat.
Right now, her whole mind was wolf. In the last few days before the full moon, the transformation had lead her to be crazy and bloodthirsty, incapable of rational thinking. During the day she might be trying to seduce men and at night to eat them. Now that it was finally full moon, her body had taken wolf form and she considered herself nothing but a wolf. She gave a short bark at the other wolf that was baring its teeth at the vampire. Sister, what are you doing with a human?
((Hope y'all don't mind. I wanted to play a wolf character but they are outlawed right now and I'm not even sure I would want Natalie to be permanent.))
