Shrapnel radiod back to Sinister, still laying prone in the sand, "All clear up here, sir," he whispered, "There's a small black opening in the middle of the Southern wall. Looks like the only opening though..."
"Well, move in," Sinister growled. It had been a while since Jo had been taken, and Sinister was less than anxious about what lay inside the pyramid, "Stay quiet and alert. Who knows what might be inside."
He looked behind him. Few Marauders had joined him, which made success light.

"Must suck pretty badly boss, when no one from the Marauders wants to help you," Iada said crossing her arms, 'Yep nothing like forcing someone who can't even use her powers to help you."

"You volunteered to be near Shrapnel, Iada," Sinister grunted standing up from his crouched position in the sand, "The least you can do is try to be supportive of our mission of trying to get Jo back."

"I don't see why I have to be envolved just because you miss having sex on a regular bases, it's like your punishing us all for your lack of it," Iada growled but continued forward scouting the area looking bored.

"It isnt' about sex, Demise," Sinister hissed, using her old marauder codename, "It's about rescuing the woman I love. I want her safe. I want her home, where I can keep watch on her. Lord only knows what that... monster is doing to her inside that tomb..."

"Nothing really," Iada said coming to the opening and peering into it before taking a step inside, "come on the coast is clear."

Shrapnel entered behind her, lightly tapping her on the butt as he passed. A blade slid from his other hand, and he raised it up, in preperation for an attack from any direction, at any time.
Sinister followed next, giving Iada a confused look thanks to her words, "Stay quiet," he told them, "Who knows that this man had up his sleeve... En Sabah Nur is no fool..."

"Have you ever wondered how much danger you put Jo and your children in just being you?" Iada asked Sinister as she ducked underneath a low ceiling, 'Maybe that's why she was kidnaped, maybe that's why she might be in a lot of pain."

Sinister stopped. Nodding overtly, he looked over his shoulder at her, "Ahhh, I see. So... I should stop being me. Is that it? Is that the answer?"
He turned back to her, "I love Jo. To the best of my knowledge, she loves me, despite my flaws in character. She knows our business, she knows her risks."

"Do your children? I'm sure they do," Iada said darkly as they came to a large room and she looked around before being slammed into the wall by an unseen forced.
"Well Mr. Sinister it's about time you've visited me," a voice filled the hall as a large creature known as Apocalypse sat in a throne and a woman with long black hair, purple eyes, and wearing silver armor appeared beside him, a sword glinting at her side as she picked up a small baby and handed it to Apocalypse, who held the child a smiled at it.

Shrapnel rushed to Iada's last side, and held a blade ahead of them as a shield of any future attacks, "Sinister, what the hell?"
Sinister took a step towards Apocalypse, his attention held on the girl at his side, "Jo? Jo, are you alright?" His red eyes grew large, as he saw the sword, and could only assume what had transpired, "Jo. Come home."

The woman's cloudy eyes narrowed an she looked at Apocalypse and then he spoke, "She is home, in fact she was a minion of mine all along. I sent her to you to seduce you, to get underneath your skin and know your strengths and weaknesses. Of course she came to me to break the deal and I merely wiped her mind clean so I could have complete control over her. Now she works for me, and the children you helped produce will be my soliders when this world is mine. I will raise them as my own," he said giving the child in his arms a smirk, before the woman looked away and unsheathed her sword waiting for the command to attack.

"No... no... NO!" Sinister wouldn't allow it. He felt his heart breaking, upon realizing Jo's actions, but anger quickly set in as he thought about his children being used as pawns, "This I cannot allow, Apocalypse! You used me once. It cost me my family before, but not now!"
Shrapnel stepped ahead of him and took a defensive stance, "Awaiting further orders, boss," he said, his lips curling in anger at Jo's betrayal.

"I've always used you Sinister, it's the only reason why you exist is for me to use your intelligence for my gain," Apocalypse said hand the child to the woman who merely glanced at it and put it back in the crib before going back into a ready to attack postion, she glazed at Shrapnel warily.
Apocalypse chuckled, "Do not act so upset Sinister, she begged me to let her go, talked of love and how she didn't want to serve me anymore, how naive you were my dear," he said gently touching Josephine's cheek who in turn didn't even move.

Sinister shoved Shrapnel to the floor away from him, and pleaded with his lover, "Josephine, listen, surely somewhere in there you can remember me! Turn away from him! Please, come back to me, so I can take care of you! Our children! Our love!"
Shrapnel quickly rose to his feet, "I don't think she's home anymore," he said, a look of disappointment crossing his face, "I think she's lost to us..."

"There's nothing left of her, it's nothing but a shell," Apocalypse told Sinister, "Nothing but a powerful slave of mine, who bends to my command. And with her sword even you can be killed by her Sinister. How I love a plan that comes full circle," he said and waved Josephine, "Go on have some fun with them," he told her.
Josephine smirked and lept forward the sword spinning in her hand, aiming it for Shrapnel first.

Shrapnel kicked Sinister in the gut and pushed him far away from Jo, as he rolled forward under Jo's swipe. He jumped to his feet, and unsheather his other blade, and leapt forth, but was caught in midair, by nothing but air.
A man dropped from the ceiling, a dark cloak covering his body and face, a hand raised, as air currents held Shrapnel's body in midair, still, and nothing more than a target, "Lord Apocalypse requests your deaths," he said with a sick grin to his voice.

Josephine seeing that Shrapnel was taken care on turned around to face Sinister, she circled around him warily, her sword in front of her before she lept forward aiming her sword tip for Sinister's shoulder.
