Syphon toyed with the controls of the X-Copter as she flew low over the Canadian/United States Border. She had just finished talking to Radial, and told him all about how she was on a mission. She didn't go into detail, because she knew that he would never understand unless she sat down and explained it to him. All she knew was that Mindwarp and his entire family were endanger. An astral entity was attacking them slowly, one by one, and if he didn't close the demon away, then he would eventually become infected.
"You okay back there?" She called to Mindwarp. He sat crosslegged in his flight chair, his fingers to his temples.
"I'm good." He voiced in a tired whisper. For the past half hour he had psychokinetically manipulated all the radar and satellites that would detect them. He even had to create an illusion surrounding the X-Copter so that anyone who saw it believed it to be a flock of Canadian Geese. Now, mentally exhausted, he collapsed into the seat. But he still couldn't stop. He needed to keep the illusion going.
"Just really tired is all."
"Well we're almost there." Caity flipped the Copter to auto-pilot and then walked back toward Mike. She merdged with him mentally, and felt just how tired he really was.
"Wow, maybe you should take a break, I'll siphon off your power and keep the illusion going."
"No, you need to fly the copter, I'll be fine. Let's just get to Red Deer and help my cousins." He continued to keep the illusion up and Caity sighed. She returned to the cockpit.
