Piotr nodded, and flipped back a few pages to the one he had been working on a few hours earlier. He had gotten stuck and skipped to the next problem. Finding the right one, he pointed it out. "Mine book instructions are in Russian so I need read the question to you, okay?"
"If you are in store and want to ask the price of object, but you not want to buy yet, you need say:" Piotr scanned down to the printed responses, which were in English, and read them to her slowly as he pointed to them. "1) I-would-like-to-buy-this. 2) Can-you-tell-me-about-this? 3) What-is-the-price-of this? 4) I-need-to-find-this."
Piotr paused. "The one I want to be right is this." He pointed to number 3, but shook his head. "It says 'Price' in it, but this one" He pointed to the first answer, "says 'Buy'. In the front of this book it had question that said 'How much to buy?' and that was about price, so I think I am wrong."

Ellen reached over Piotr's arm and pointed to number three, "It's price because you haven't decided to buy the object because you want to know the price first," she said, "So you were right about number three, you just shouldn't second guess yourself."
