Christian helped Shrapnel to his feet, "Maybe once," he said, looking down at the makeshift braclet he wore, a black string taught with an old engagement ring, "But you saw that that ended."
"Hn... I wasn't gonna say anything, but it didn't seem like they new us at first. God knows I screwed around with time and space before."
Sinister smirked and called back to her, "You forget who was the one who gave you enough insight to create those compounds," he said, entering the lab.

"Wasn't that version of me's fault, my dear redheaded friend," Amelia said and walked out of the room, then BlueStar blew a kiss at Shrapnel and disappeared as well.
BlueStar chuckled, "I feel bad for them because we're are the chicks they fell in love with, but also we're not. It's really confusing when you think about the whole Unstuck from time thing," she said running a hand through her blond hair.
Josephine followed Sinister down the stairs to the lab, "Thank you, I mean I needed help with those formulas, and you helped me, so thank you," she said not looking at Sinister and went to work reviewing some notes.

Sinister smiled at her, "There. Now was that so hard?"
He helped organize some of the notes, and looked at a peice of paper Jo was holding, "Umm... Jo? You forgot to carry a one right there," he said, pointing out a erronous problem.

"Dear Sinister, look at the handwriting, those are the notes you helped me write last night," Jo said looking up at Sinister and smiling, "So with all do respect, you forgot to carry the one."

"A trivial sidenote," he said, not sounding disapproving, "The equation works out to a thousandth of a fractional even without the measly one."

"Until you actually do the formula and get the wrong measurements," Josephine teased gently the sides of her mouth twitching to keep from smiling.

"Science isn't all precision," Sinister noted, leaning up against the table, "Sometimes guesswork is all you have. Or the only way to go, in either case..."

((Darn it, you just left me on the floor to stand there! No chance to fight back! Bleh... So much for waiting for someone else to post before going on.))
"Are those girls the evil we are supposed to fight or just training for it?" Chase growled, rubbing his jaw and glaring at the girls' retreating backs. "We're pretty much doomed."
The floor bubbled and the metal swelled as a man-shaped silvery statue. The metal ran off the shape and joined again with the floor. "Damn," Aaron murmered as the floor solidified beneath him. "I knew it would be hard, but this is crazy!"

((Grrrrr, I know I tried to include you, but someone had to play hero...*glares at Christian))
Iris shook her head as she entered the main part of the Danger Room, "They're on ourside, but frankly I was hoping that this would have gone a little better. We were suppose to work on teamwork, but instead Christian and Shrapnel left you two to fend for yourselves," she said biting her lip, "Amelia and BlueStar better known as Iada were supose to be born fifteen years ago, but something went wrong so they became unstuck from time and spent most of their time in the Neutral Plane being trained by various Guardians. They're the perfect team, but it seems that they as well have a lot to work on."
Eleen walked into the room and yawned, 'What did I miss?"

"If they have a lot to work on, I'd hate to see it when they get perfect," Chase replied crossly. "Will they be fighting with us?"
"What'd yah miss? Just about everything," replied Aaron. "We got our butts kicked by two chicks."

"And that's uncommon for you boys, how?" Ellen asked raising an eyebrow and looking at Aaron as she cracked her knuckles.
"They're still young, and often flighty, their perfection will come with their age," Iris said, "If things go according to plan they shouldn't have to. Their unstuck from time they're not really allowed to mess with things such as this."

"Look lady, you don't know anything about me and already you are making judgements?" Aaron snapped back. She may have been joking, but he wasn't in any mood for joking around. "So, Iris, what are we going to do now that we have failed the initial test?"

"Ooo, brave for a little guy," Ellen said giving Aaron and wolfish grin, "Brave for someone I could pound into the wall."
"Training, lots of training, hopefully work on our teamwork," Iris said her eyes darkening a little, 'That's about all we can do."

Christian wandered aimlessly out of the Danger Room, his right ankle sore from a previous battle years ago. He noticed Ellen, and tensed up.
Swallowing hard, he walked up to her, "Ellen? Is it alright if I had a word with you? Alone, if possible?"

Ellen crossed her arms and a scowl appeared on her face, 'No you can't, Cole called for you help, and you showed up, in your own time, and it was too late for Cole," she growled and pushed past Christian, "Maybe if you were on time he would have lived."

"There seems to be some bad blood here," Aaron frowned to himself. He dragged his hand through his messy black hair as he left the room.
"Not much hope, eh?" Chase said to Iris with a half-laugh. "The team that has to save the world and we can't work together long enough to beat a couple of chicks."

Christian nodded, his eyes blank, "I know. Actually thats exactly what I wanted to talk to you about. I know you blame me. Hell, I blame myself, but I just wanted a chance to tell you what happened that day. Why I couldn't be there..."

"Like I care," Ellen said darkly, "You were late, what was it traffic? Well guess what it doesn't matter why you were late, because either way Cole is dead."

"Figures. I thought you might be too pigheaded to listen to someone elses side of the story," he said, turning away, and disappearing back to the kitchen, "And don't think I didn't care that he was gone, either. Because I did."

"Yeah guilt has a way of doing that to people," Ellen growled and crosssed her arms.
