PAin put his hand over his heart as if he had been shot. "Oh, that hurt Twi, that really hurt."

"Eh, ya deserved it," X-T said looking up at him, then looking back down at the ground.
Eric raised an eyebrow.
"Now, that's a little harsh, X-T," Eric said crossing his arms
"Then I've done my job," X-T said, moving from resting on her knees to sitting on the ground cross legged.

Jasmine smiled. "Yeah he always deserved it." She sat down and leaned back with her hands behind her.

Vendetterous was pressed up against the wall, trying to get an angle on the alleyway beyond. His pistol was holstered on his hip. He drew it, the .454 casull heavy in his hand, but it would be accurate enough and pack a heavy enough punch to stop the chimerics as they came at him. The twilight hours were coming, still maybe an hour or so away, but that was the best time to travel, the shadows seemed to disappear and it was easier to hide. Vendetterous looked around the corner and saw two individuals in the middle of the road. They were inbetween him and where he wanted to be, so that was a rather percarious position for him to be in. He looked around the corner and then back up the street in the other direction. He looked across the street towards the adjacent alley way. He sighed heavily, so this is what it had come to, this is where he might finally die, no valiant struggle, no final battle, but for crossing a road. He thought for a moment and then wondered if the Chimerics could tell each other apart, he had never really thought about it. Maybe if he walked rigidly and kept his vision forwards and crossed the alleyway like he was tracking himself, he might be able to make it. There was only on real way of telling.
He holstered his weapon and began to walk out into the street. His gambit had failed, they recognized him immediately and began to fire on him with amazing accuracy. Vendetterous rolled, bringing his weapon to bear on one of them as he came up. He fired on mass reactive mercury slug and as the chimerics face disappeared Vendetterous got up and bolted for the alleyway, firing shots as he went.

X-T suddenly heard guns firing off in the distance. She looked up.
"Vendetterous," X-T automatically said. She stood up, and revieled two pistols that were stationed on her belt. She looked down at the communicator and pressed the button, hoping that he still had his.

"not a good time, I will have to get back to you" Vendetterous replied as he peeked around the corner to get off a shot. He missed, but he was not in particular trying to hit anything...just trying to keep its head down. Vendetterous hoped this things motivation was self preservation, but some how he doubted that.
Vendetterous ran up the length of the building and through a narrow alley way leading towards his objective. He was careful around the cross sections, but he had not been careful enough, he was bleeding again, and this time it seemed to be profuse.

"No. We talk now," X-T said taking ammo out from her belt, "Ain't th' time t'fly solo. Yer gettin' my help we'ther ya like it er not,"
"Maybe you should stay out of his way, X-T," said Eric.
X-T looked over at him, then twriled her guns, putting them back on her belt.
"I ain't playin' wild cards anymore, Eric. Right now, all that matters is life," X-T said, taking off her jacket to reveal a black halter top, "Leave no man behind,"

"I am sort of half way across town, you have a heavy enemy contingent in your area and it is not worth it to lose two lives when one will suffice."
Vendetterous dove through another intersection firing wildly at the enemies which seemed to be swarming towards him. He was so close though, to those things which would serve his friends best.

"Don' worry. I don' bruise easily," X-T said walking out and sneaking down the stairs, "You, on th' other hand, gotta get outta there. I swears, the next blow I hear, you'll be in tiny lil' pieces," X-T followed along the darken wall till she reached ground level, where she waited until she had the right moment to get past the heavily guarded sentinel in her way.

"let us pray that is how I find my end." Vendetterous dove through another corner but came up with a barrel pointed in his face and had to dodge to the side as he fired his gun at the chimeric. He caught another bullet in the leg as the wound on his arm had begun to heal.

X-T looked around, seeing her motorcycle parked on the street. She ran over to it, and jumped onto it, starting it up.
"You alright," X-T said, pulling the motorcycle out and zipping down the road, dodging rubble and pedestrians in the way. She heard an explotion over her head, seeing fighter jets above her. She smiled, and extended the speed on the bike.

"I will live, you worry about yourself."
Vendetterous looked down at his chest. Two grenades had just gone off. Vendetterous was lucky that his black carapace protected his torso from such things. He did however have to dig a seering hot peice of metal out of his cheek, and two more from his left arm. He couldn't stay put though, and had to get moving again. He was limping badly, the grenades had peppered his legs with steel.
He staggered up the alley way to the next intersection and ducked through and up agains the building on his right. He crept slowly along its exterior, and moved inside the rear entrance. This was the train depot, and Vendetterous had stored many supplies within its lockers.

X-T sped through the street, taking out one gun and keeping one hand on the wheel.
"I hardly think about myself even when I'm not in danger, Vendetterous," X-T said, shooting at a gas cargo truck and quickly menuvering out of the blast's way, "That would be selfish,"
X-T drove the motorcycle up and ramp, the bike to get air, along with herself. She shot at the jet about her, seeing a couple of bullets hit one of the wings of the jets. X-T landed along with the bike, speeding around a pillar which used to hold up the bank, she heard motorcycle and car noises behind her. She looked behind her, her hair getting in her face. Men with helmets and guns were all aiming their arms on her. X-T pulled her gun out and shot the tire, the car to surve into a couple of the men on motorcycles. She quickly shot two men down and accelerated her speed.
