Eliza got up her eyes narrowed, "We save him, from Pa and Bessies," Eliza growled energy sparking from her body as she wrapped an arm around Artemis' waist before she lifted them into the air and smashed through the ceiling of the bus and took off towards her parent's house, "Ih hope Huntin paid attention durin Dangah room practices enough tah dodge my Pa!" she added over the wind a worried expression crossing her face.

"Come on boy, dyin won't hurt tah much," Buck growled aiming, shooting, and missing, but getting the kitchen cabinets and sink in the process, "Who do yah think yah are anyway, comin intah myh house, seducin my angel, tryin tah get on myh good side, yah little worm!" Buck shouted and imed at Huntin again.

Huntin ran out the kitchen door into the night, so tempted to use his telepor---WAIT!

He ran to the side of the house, making sure Buck wouldn't see what he was going to do. He quickly turned invisible, inducer and all, leaning against the wall, breathing as lightly as possible, not moving a muscle.

[Zeb]

"Merde!" Artemis yelped as they burst through the ceiling. "Eliza, when we save him, should I use my powers or not?" He asked, kicking up a wind to give Eliza more speed with less stress on her.

[Health]

"Hell, Ih am, Ih don't see why yah shouldn't," Eliza growled her body absorbing energy from the air and she went faster, she let out a sigh of relief as she saw the mansion. She landed on the lawn and ran into the house.

Unknown to Buck, he was a mutant as well, but he never realized his enhanced senses were anything but normal. His ears twitched and he picked up the breathing of the boy and smirked, pointing the gun where the breathing was coming from, "Die boy," he growled.

"Pa no!" Eliza said throwing herself in front of the invisable Huntin, she had located him by his mind signature. But it was too late for Buck to stop his trigger finger and Eliza was thrown back into Huntin with two gunshot wounds to the chest.

[Zeb]

Artemis was pissed off now. With a cry of cold fury, the boy threw his entire body weight into Buck. It wasn't enough to knock him over, but he was all he could do short of striking the man with lightning.

[MacGuffin]

Huntin caught Eliza and stumbled back a little with her, managing to stay up. He wound up turning visible again, but forgetting about the image inducer. His green skin shone with sweat as he looked to Buck, heaving mad, and afraid. He proppd Eliza up, not stressing because he knew she would live, but more than furious with Buck nonetheless. "You....shot.....my....girlfriend....your DAUGHTER!"

[Health]

"It was an accident, if yah just would have let me kill yah in tha first place she wouldn't have gotten in the way!" Buck growled looking down at Artemis who had tried to throw him off balance, Buck aimed the butt of his pistol at the top of Artemis' head, then looked back at Huntin, "Mutant freak, look at yah do yah think yah good enough fer my daughtah? What type of children would yah have, eithah way tha world would never accept yah. Yah might as well let her go so she can love someone normal anh try tah be normal herself."

Eliza let out a cough as her wounds started to heal and she managed to hear the last of Buck's speech, "No," she gasped.

[MacGuffin]

"At least I'm not a homocidal maniac! You think people accept me now? You think you're any different from anyone I've ever met before?" Huntin was not in a wordy mood, he could barely get his thoughts together.

[Zeb]

Artemis went cross-eyed, falling back and landing on his ass. He growled. "And how do you think Eliza became a mutant, Buck?" He snarled, one hand on his head, "Its the male in the relationship that carries the mutant gene."

[Health]

Eliza shook her head and grabbed onto Huntin's arm to help lift herself to her feet, "Pa think of all tha time yah anh Ih could hear anh smell things Darlene couldn't. Yah don't have normal senses," she said quietly leaning on Huntin heavily as her body continued to heal itself, "Pa, yah ah mutant just like us, just not as noticable as Huntin. Anh I love him, green skin anh all," she added biting her lip in pain from the healing.

"No, no it's not true, they've brain washed yah Eliza," Buck growled aiming the pistols at Huntin, 'Yah turned myh baby girl ahgainst me yah freak."

[MacGuffin]

"Bucky boy, she was against you from day one." Huntin acted fast, POOFing right behind Buck and kicking him where it hurt all men. "Killing won't do you any good."

[Zeb]

Artemis winced, touching the back of his head. It hurt pretty badly, but not enough for him to pass out or anything. He looked up just in time to see Huntin kick Buck. "Atta boy..." He mumbled.

[Health]

'Huntin, stop," Eliza ran forward and held him back by stepping between him at Buck and leaning against his chest, 'Please stop, don't hurt him, he's stills myh Pa," she whsipered reaching up and touching Huntin's cheek.

Unfortuently Eliza didn't turn until it was too late, 'Traitor!" Buck screamed and slammed his over-sized fist into Eliza's cheek, causing her to go flying into the door of the kitchen. She groan and slowly got to her feet, only to be bullrushed by Buck and thrown into the outside shed. Then hsi oversized beefy hand were around her neck and Eliza couldn't breath.

"No more mutants, Ih can't stand it anymore!" Buck screamed tightening his grip on his daughter's neck.

[MacGuffin]

Huntin lept onto Buck's back, punching his head. "Get off of her!" He jumped off, swinging around so he could slam Buck in the face, punching harder and faster than he ever had before.

[Zeb]

Artemis was up and lunging at Buck before you could say 'mutant'. He slipped between the two, grabbed the man's arms, and drove his thumbnail into place just above Buck's wristbone. "Let her go, you sick bastard!" He said, throwing his weight back against Buck's chest while digging his nail into the man's wrist.

[Health]

Sadly for Eliza Buck's rage was hard thing to break, even if he was breaking her neck. Eliza tried to hit Buck as hard as she could to get him to break his grip, but her hits were feeble and then her arms went limp.

"Jesus, he found out y'all are mutants didn't he?" Darlene said from the doorway and walked over to Buck and pressed a bare hand on his shoulder. Suddenly Buck's eyes rolled into the back of his head and he collasped ontop of Artemis and Eliza.

Eliza coughed and wheezed, her eyes flying open as she struggled to get out from under Artemis and Buck's weight. She managed to pull herself out and curl up into a ball and began sobbing.

Huntin pulled Buck's body off, with a lot of effort, of Artemis, panting a little, shaking and sweating. He squatted down to make sure his friend was alright, "You okay, man?" he said as he leaned over to Eliza, holding her in his arms and trying to comfort her.

[Zeb]

Artemis grunted his response to Huntin, sitting up and rubbing his ribs. He groaned softly, his hand traveling to the back of his head as he watched the couple with solemn eyes.

[Health]

"Ih wanna go home," Eliza cried her hand gripping Huntin's shirt never wanting to go home, this was the second time in her life that Buck had thrown himself into a rage and tried to kill her. Eliza had told her friend's that Buck had just hit her in reality, he had beaten her into a coma.

"This happens everytime Buck gets really angry," Darlene sighed, "He gets bloodlust, takes it out on Eliza and then forgets everything when he wakes up again."

[MacGuffin]

Huntin held his love close, anger growing within him at the thoughts of what Buck has done. Before he had hoped he was wrong when he thought Buck was abusive, and now he knew the ugly truth. "Eliza....We can go whenever you want...." he leaned over and whispered in her ear. "I don't want you to get hurt anymore...."
