The run down house had never looked better. Someone had fixed it up, repairing the doors and windows, replacing the siding and roof, and trimming back the rampant crabgrass. Obviously, someone had bought the building, and his Brotherhood in the process.
Magnus surveyed the revamped building with contempt. Apparently, whomever had been left in charge had failed miserably in their duties. No matter; he was here to revive his group to its former glory.
He had been contacted by one Nathaniel Essex to return; rather, Dr. Essex's lackeys-- a tall brooding man and a lithe Japanese boys-- has delivered the request. Their agreement was that for a considerable monetary sum Magnus would return and serve as the leader of the Brotherhood under Sinister. The thought had repulsed him at first, but the more he reviewed the proposition the more he was inclined to take it.
Erik Magnus Lehnsherr was by no means a young man; he had three children for god's sake. But he had never been the type of person to sit about and wait to grow senile. He planned to succeed in leaving his name on the minds of all future mutants as the one who'd made a difference in their fight against the Homo Sapiens.
Essex essentially had the same ideals as he. Living with the Homo Sapiens was growing worse, and both men intended to overcome the mutants plight. That was one of the only reasons he had even considered working under the good Doctor.
Striding up to the door, his gray hair neat and his black suit crisp. Lifting his hand, he knocked on the door loudly, requesting admittance into the house that had once been his.

"I assume you're Magneto right?" NAtty didn't even wait for an answer seeing the age, nd body type of the man fitting thedescription she stepped to the side of the now open door, and beckoned him in. "Sinsiter is waiting for you. Right this way." She stated pointing down a hallway and leading him through the house.
"So what made you come back if you don't mind my asking?" Arsenal knew she was only instructed to bring him to her master, but she was a curious girl who didn't really care if her questions crossed the line.

Sinister entered from the basement doorway. Magneto was a legend among humans and mutants alike. He would not keep the man waiting. And it was for this reason he wore his true colors, white faces, black-lipped, demonic Mr. Sinister over the guide of Dr. Nathaniel Essex. Magneto had enough clout surrounding his name to deserve better than a rouse.
"Magneto, such a pleasure this is to have you in my home," Sinister remarked calmly, bowing graciously at his guest, "I take it you've arrived to discuss, at length, the business venture I have proposed for you?"
Sinister kept his guard up. Magneto was not one to be trifled with. He had left specific instructions for his Marauders to keep their distance. This was a meeting. Not to be sullied by intimidating tactics such as applying numbers.

Magnus looked over the girl with very little interest. His face was a stoic mask of indifference. "I am here to discuss the terms of my return," He said coolly to the girl, "With the Doctor. Not you." He spoke with a calm, superior air. He then turned his cool gray gaze to Sinister.
After a moment, a smile came over his wizened lips. "Dr. Essex, I presume. Please, call me Magnus," He said, grasping Sinister's hand and bowing a bit himself, "I am very... intrigued by your offer. Though, I'm sure you know, I am not one that is so inclined to serve under someone without good reason..."

"But of course, I'll leave you two now." Arsenal then left the room, walking away to wait in the front room to hear any news. 'Arrogant asswhole.' She thought not really caring what anyone said any guy like that would get very little respect from her. "This is going to be one long wait, I hope this guy is really as good as everyone says." Natty complained out loud, she knew that her remark would probably warant a statement from some older member who was actually there while he was directing them.

"I'm very understanding of this, Magnus," Sinister said with a gentle nod, "A man of your power, reputation, noteriety, intelligence? Serving under one such as myself? I would consider it preposterous to the point of being quite sure you would attack me as soon as meet with me."
He tilted his head to the side, "Yet, you have come. Have you fallen so far?"

Magnus sighed, reclining in his chair. "Dr. Essex, in case you haven't noticed, I'm old. Not all of us have been blessed with eternal youth. Its about time I pass my knowledge on to the next generation. I'm not going to be around for a much longer," He said calmly, "As for attacking you, it would not be in my best interest."
He leaned forward, resting his arms on his knees. "Nathaniel, you and I could be very lucrative business partners. You know my reputation, and I have researched you. You know as well as I that this venture is in both our best interests.

He thought for a moment, "Pardon me, I mispoke. You are more intelligent about the matter at hand than I had anticipated you being. Regardless, the deal is as it has been: You control the Brotherhood. I, in turn, control you, as well as maintain the property on which they reside, until of course, you find better housing."

Magnus raised an eyebrow at Sinister's revelation. He chuckled softly. "Really, my good man, do you really think I wouldn't do my research? Please, give me more credit," He smirked slightly, "I've been around the block more than one or two times. I know about you, your grumpy underling with the blades and the flamboyant Asian boy you sent to extend your invitation. I know about your attack on the Xavier mansion a short while ago. I know that you know about me and my reputation. It is what I have learned that brings me here. I am intrigued. What is it you have planned?"
